Consummate: Missing World Achievement Guide: Endings, Belief, Collectibles, and Cleanup

Official Consummate Missing World key art showing the two main characters

Consummate: Missing World is short enough to finish quickly, but it is very easy to make a messy achievement run. The trap is not combat or a hard puzzle. It is route control: belief value, save timing, cake ingredients, hidden books, bookmarks, a few joke endings, and the enormous Steam achievement list that blooms after the perfect ending.

This guide is written as an achievement and endings guide. It is not a word-for-word walkthrough of every room. The goal is to give you a clean route: what to collect, where to save, which branches to test, which gates matter, and how to avoid replaying half the game because one hidden object was missed.

Plan around achievements from the start. The game has many endings, but most of the pain comes from missed collectibles and belief-value gates.

Completion Snapshot

Steam currently lists 888 achievements for Consummate: Missing World. That number is misleading if you are planning the route by hand. A large share are character achievements unlocked through post-game systems and the gallery/dictionary flow. The practical route is to secure the story, endings, belief value, collectibles, and hidden scenes first, then clean up the character-achievement showcase from a perfect-ending save.

Goal Verified Route Note Risk If Missed
All endings There are 18 endings, including normal bad endings, dark-route endings, the bridge ending, the perfect ending, and two joke endings. You may need to replay from Chapter 4 or Chapter 5 if you do not keep branch saves.
Meaning of Life books There are 8 volumes. All 8 are required for the perfect ending route. The perfect ending and later gallery content will not trigger.
Bookmarks There are 6 bookmarks. They are tied to progression and achievement cleanup. You can block or delay the late route if you ignore them.
Diary pages There are 5 diary pages across Farm, Living Room, Bedroom, Kitchen, and Study. The diary achievement and some investigation clarity are lost until cleanup.
Belief value The route can reach 35 total belief. Key gates are below 5, 18, 25, and 30. Low belief can force a bad ending, block Chapter 7, or block perfect-ending extras.
Full achievement cleanup Use a perfect-ending gallery save for character achievements and post-game extras. Manual character searching becomes much slower without a gallery save.

Before You Start

  • Open the options menu from the bottom choice on the main menu if you need to change language.
  • Hold the speed-up key during text and scene playback if you are replaying branches.
  • Use several save slots. Do not rely only on autosave.
  • Expect two playthrough passes for a clean 100 percent route. The first should be your high-belief completion route. The second is for low-belief and dark-route achievements.
  • Keep a save after the perfect ending and before leaving the gallery cleanup. That save is the safest place to unlock or search character achievements.

Save Plan

The whole achievement route becomes manageable if you save before the branch points instead of after them. Use this as the backbone of your run.

Save Where To Make It Use It For
Save 1 Chapter 2, Farm, before committing the plantation choice. Strawberry route for the main run, then croton route on the second pass.
Save 2 Chapter 3, Kitchen, before the identity confrontation. The early kitchen bad ending, then the normal continuation.
Save 3 Chapter 4, destroyed hall chase, when the pursuer appears. Escape alone, get caught, or return to the male lead.
Save 4 Chapter 4, nightmare escape, before the risky box/reception note sequence. The no-catch escape achievement and the reception-note achievement.
Save 5 Chapter 5, Kitchen, before choosing cake ingredients. Stink petals, vivid mushroom, strawberry cake, and croton cleanup.
Save 6 Chapter 5, after the strawberry route returns you to the room. Accept the simple ending, then reload for the investigation route.
Save 7 Chapter 6, clone terminal, before pressing random controls. Both clone-terminal bad endings, then the normal dialogue route.
Save 8 Late Chapter 6, before the identity choice. Test both identity outcomes, then continue to Chapter 7 with enough belief.
Save 9 After credits, before Chapter 7 cleanup opens fully. Post-game cleanup, books, computer puzzles, phone ending, and final bridge route.
Saves 10-12 Second playthrough, Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 branch points. Low-belief and dark-route endings without damaging the high-belief file.

Belief Value Gates

Belief is the most important hidden counter. Once the teddy bear is repaired, check it to confirm your current belief value. The guide references agree on 35 possible belief points in the route, split across chapters as follows.

Chapter Belief Available High-Value Checks
Chapter 1 0 Take the player letter below the telephone area early. It matters later even though it is not a belief point.
Chapter 2 8 Farm diary, chimney choices, mushroom, stink petals, blue butterfly, teddy repair, bedroom diary, and the doubtful answer after leaving.
Chapter 3 0 No belief total here, but this is a key chapter for the recipe, first Meaning of Life book, and kitchen branch.
Chapter 4 6 The teasing dialogue chain, Study/Kitchen/Living Room diary pages, the second-name kitchen interaction, and a clean nightmare escape.
Chapter 5 5 Harvested ingredient, music-room key route, swimming-pool crying choice, and strawberry cake.
Chapter 6 9 Bookmarks, locker/sheet-music route, piano, old-office and cryogenic-room checks, and the late bedroom answer.
Chapter 7 7 Hacking knowledge, F field, bedroom computer, mirror, Winston answer, cryogenic investigation, and bath-scene follow-up.

The dangerous thresholds are simple. Below 5 belief can trigger the collapse bad ending in the Chapter 4 hall sequence. Below 18 belief can prevent Chapter 7. At least 25 belief plus all eight Meaning of Life books and the player letter supports the perfect ending route. More than 30 belief is needed for the teddy-bear perfectionist cleanup after the perfect ending.

The story looks linear, but small investigation choices decide belief value, endings, and late-game access.

Main Route: Chapters 1-4

In Chapter 1, choose any name. The name choice does not affect the achievement route. When you can interact with the room, choose the open/inspect options, check the green locker near the bookcase, approach the blue object, then check the telephone area. Take the note below the telephone. This player letter is part of the perfect-ending setup, so do not skip it just because it looks like a small extra.

In Chapter 2, use the elevator to visit the available rooms. Do the bedroom last. When the Farm becomes available, collect the gloves near the upper-right woods, take the vivid mushroom, enter the farm building, read the diary page, and take the sickle. Select strawberries for the main high-belief route, but keep Save 1 so you can later reload for croton. Check the chimney with the doubtful/inside route, cut the stink petals with the sickle, interact with the nearby crack, and touch the blue butterfly before leaving. Finish the chapter by taking the teddy bear in the Living Room and repairing it in the Bedroom route.

Chapter 3 is your first important bad-ending branch. In the Study, take Meaning of Life Vol. 1 from the right-side room and learn the cooking recipe from the correct bookshelf. In the Kitchen, collect the food items, then make Save 2 before pushing the identity confrontation. Test the bad ending, reload, and continue with the calmer route. When the game offers the fourth unusual text option later in the conversation, use it for the route noted by the achievement guides.

Chapter 4 has several missables in a row. The dialogue chain that gives belief is the scolding route followed by time, place, and the flirt/insult option. Visit the Recreation Room, cut the scrolls, return after getting scissors, then collect diary pages from Kitchen, Living Room, and Study. In the Study blackboard room, use the segmented code that spells Flawless. Take the old phone and the box in the secret room before returning to the elevator.

When the destroyed hall sequence begins, use Save 3. From this point, test the chase outcomes: escape through the door, get caught by the pursuer, and return to the male lead. Then continue to the nightmare escape. Use Save 4 before the tight section. Push the reception box, read the note, avoid getting caught, and reach the elevator for the escape achievement.

Main Route: Chapter 5

At the start of Chapter 5, check your belief through the teddy bear, then use the gloves to reveal fingerprints. Return to the Farm to harvest strawberries from the Chapter 2 planting route. In the music room path, collect the doll/key route item and use the pool scene choice that sends Consummate somewhere private to cry for another belief point.

Make Save 5 in the Kitchen before the cake ingredient. Use this save to test the ingredient endings:

Ingredient Or Branch What It Unlocks Route Advice
Stink petals The stink-petal cake bad ending. Reload immediately after it unlocks.
Vivid mushroom The suspicious-ingredient bad ending. Choose the intentional route if the game asks whether you meant it.
Strawberries The strawberry cake route and belief gain. Use this for the main high-belief file.
Croton The door-lock/tamper ending on the second pass. Use the second playthrough route from Save 1 or a dedicated branch.

After the strawberry branch, make Save 6. Accepting the simple life route unlocks one ending. Reload and continue the investigation route. The important answer chain is the portrait, completion date, truth of her survival, showing the portrait, identifying yourself as a clone, and then identifying as Flawless when the route asks for it.

Main Route: Chapter 6

Chapter 6 is the biggest collectible chapter. In the first new area, take Meaning of Life Vol. 4 before talking to the male lead. In the research/clone route, pick the bookmark near the computers, take Meaning of Life Vol. 2 from the upper-left room, find the locker key, and open the first locker for Meaning of Life Vol. 3. The third locker key is between servers, and the third locker gives the piano sheet music.

When you reach the clone terminal, make Save 7. Press random controls and use the visible random-code branch to trigger the escape version of the clone-terminal ending, then reload and stay in the room to trigger the death version. Reload again and talk to the male lead normally, asking about the available topics before moving on.

In Chapter 6 Part II, unlock the left Living Room door with the doll key, then move into the gallery route. Meaning of Life Vol. 7 is hidden in the corridor plant area, and Meaning of Life Vol. 8 is visible in the gallery. Check the paintings for the painting-related achievement. Back at the elevator, click the wall to the left of the panel 20 times to reveal the hidden mechanism, then continue clicking to trigger the elevator-wall joke ending.

Next, sweep the late-game rooms. The swimming pool has a bookmark in the flower area and a comic in the male changing room. The Old Office has another bookmark. The Clone Room has a hidden bookmark between tubes. The Cryogenic Room has a bookmark on the floor, and the Rehabilitation Room has a bookmark near the phone room. Once all bookmarks are found, the game sends you toward the bedroom identity sequence. Use Save 8, test both identity outcomes, then keep the route that continues into Chapter 7 with enough belief.

Most important objects are small room details: drawers, lockers, notes, bookshelves, flowerpots, phone areas, and wall panels.

Main Route: Chapter 7

Chapter 7 is where the route turns into final cleanup. Read all bookmarks on the bookshelf, then use the doll to reach the music room and play the piano. In the Study, read the hacking book. Use the secret room and the laptop route to crack the F field, then complete the escape-maze puzzle. Crack the remaining fields while you are there.

In the male lead’s bedroom, use the classic sequence Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A on the computer route. This opens a hidden passage and supports both the computer configuration achievement and the classic-code achievement. Check the mirror in the inner room afterward.

Return to the Cryogenic Room and inspect the fifth-door plaque. Enter the hidden lower room to collect Meaning of Life Vol. 5 and Vol. 6. Once you have all eight books, return to the bedroom bookshelf to complete the book set.

For the late computer route, use the library/Study W-field result to answer Winston at the clone-building computer. Then use the rightmost computer with code 53586. At the clone terminal, log in through the Chron / Inheritance of Consciousness route and use the date 20050504. After the long scene, use the bathroom sequence and choose the age-related prompt to collect the final belief points from that branch.

Before unlocking the phone properly, deliberately answer the phone-owner question wrong four times for the phone-explosion joke ending. Then reload or continue from a safe point and answer the real route with Flawless, followed by the answer about a reason to live. For the final bridge ending, go to the Farm, cross the bridge, and then return.

Collectible Checklist

Use this as a quick audit before you push the final route. The exact room labels can vary slightly depending on translation, but the location logic is stable across the community guide references.

Character Achievement Cleanup

Do not try to manually route every character achievement during the story. The official Steam page and community references both point toward a post-game/search workflow: after conquering the game, use the gallery, dictionary, and showcase tools to unlock and locate character achievements. When decorating the Steam profile showcase, use Ctrl+F search for the desired character instead of scrolling the full list by hand.

The best cleanup habit is simple: keep a perfect-ending gallery save, interact with the gallery objects, restore the dictionary pages, read through the computer extras, talk to the developer NPCs multiple times, and then use search for any remaining character entries. This is much faster than replaying the route for every single symbol.

Common Mistakes

  • Skipping the player letter: it is easy to treat the phone-area note as flavor, but it is part of the perfect-ending setup.
  • Planting only one ingredient route: strawberries are for the main route, but croton is still needed for a branch ending.
  • Not saving before cake ingredients: Chapter 5 has several ingredient outcomes that should be tested from the same save.
  • Ignoring belief value: the route can look correct while still missing Chapter 7 or the perfect-ending extras.
  • Forgetting the hidden F-room books: two Meaning of Life books are in the Chapter 7 hidden room reached from the cryogenic route.
  • Leaving the clone terminal too late: Save 7 lets you test both random-terminal outcomes without repeating the whole chapter.
  • Cleaning character achievements too early: save that for the post-game gallery/dictionary stage.

Small room inspections matter. Drawers, portraits, plaques, mirrors, and bookshelves often unlock more than one achievement step.

Final Cleanup Checklist

  • All 5 diary pages collected and read.
  • All 6 bookmarks collected and read in Chapter 7.
  • All 8 Meaning of Life books collected before the perfect ending.
  • Player letter taken from the opening phone area.
  • Belief checked at the teddy bear before the final phone route.
  • Chapter 5 ingredient endings tested from a save.
  • Clone-terminal flee and stay endings tested from a save.
  • Elevator-wall and phone-wrong-answer joke endings unlocked.
  • Gallery/dictionary/computer extras completed after the perfect ending.
  • Developer NPCs in the gallery talked to repeatedly for their achievements.

Official game metadata, screenshots, achievement count, and store description were checked through the Consummate: Missing World Steam page. Route details were cross-checked against readable Steam Community achievement, ending, collectible, and belief-value guide references. The community guide pages used here display Steam compatibility warnings, so branch details are treated as cautious player-route evidence rather than official documentation.
