BrokenLore: FOLLOW Walkthrough – All Six Chapters

Official BrokenLore FOLLOW screenshot of Mini Anne facing a giant skull-like monster in a dark brick passage

Full-story spoiler warning: this route names every chapter transition, the late-game pursuers, and the final pool interaction in BrokenLore: FOLLOW.

When a room in FOLLOW appears to have no exit, the missing step is usually a staged trigger, not a hidden four-digit code. The dependable progression chain is: make the first television reveal the scissors, use three matching television states to rebuild the art door, carry an Old Key back to the Pickaxe cabinet, complete Bonnie’s food errand, disconnect three color-coded cables, then turn the hedge maze into a trail of lit lamps. This walkthrough follows that chain through all six chapters and stops short of claiming a 100% collectible route.

The useful question in FOLLOW is not “Have I searched every dark corner?” but “Which object is waiting for the room to change state?” Official Steam screenshot.

Route boundary: research was checked on July 18, 2026. Steam identifies the game as AppID 2846530, developed by Serafini Productions and released for Windows on May 31, 2026. The reliable chapter references divide the story into six chapters; a supplied unofficial wiki instead describes seven unrelated chapters and unsupported endings, so none of those conflicting claims are used below. If a later client changes an interaction, the current prompt and visible room state take priority.

Chapter 1 – turn the television clue into the doll’s Lighter

Anne begins in the Dining Room. Inspect the Mythology book at the far end of the table, enter the Living Room, and read the note on the Christmas tree. The stairs are still blocked and both other doors are locked. Return to the Dining Room and listen to the radio on the left. That audio event is what prepares the television in the Living Room; watching and interacting with the dancer changes the lighting to red and removes the sofa from the stairway.

Upstairs, use the light switch and approach the cabinet on the right to trigger Mini Anne. The cabinet event opens the passage beyond it. As you follow that passage, register three landmarks rather than trying every door at random:

  1. The large clock just before the passage bends right will matter after the television supplies its clue.
  2. The Old Key is on the table beside the next door. Take it before entering.
  3. Beyond that door, switch on the table lamp, descend the stairs, and inspect the doll near the photograph of Anne and Camilla. The doll contains something, but it cannot be opened yet.

An Elysium object can be inspected in the cabinet to the doll’s left. It is an optional observation for this story route, not proof of a complete Elysium checklist. Leave through the nearby door to loop back into the Living Room.

Watch the dancer footage again. The two actionable images are a clock and scissors. Return upstairs to the large clock. When its bell sounds, the door on the clock’s left unlocks. The corridor behind it repeats and contains four wardrobes. Continue around the loop and check the wardrobes on each pass; the scene eventually glitches and the scissors appear inside one wardrobe. The repetition is the puzzle state, so turning around after the first empty set only resets your own search, not the room.

Take the scissors back to the doll. Anne opens it and receives the Lighter. The remaining Living Room door then opens onto a mannequin in a dress. Approach it for the scene, attempt to return upstairs, and let the giant head block that route. Backtrack to the Living Room instead of looking for a weapon. After the exits vanish, approach the Christmas tree and wait for the next scene to begin.

The chapter closes with a side-view Mini Anne sequence. Keep moving right and clear the obstacles while the monster follows. Reaching the far end, rather than collecting anything in that sequence, is the Chapter 2 trigger.

Chapter 2 – make three televisions agree before rebuilding the art

The new hallway is governed by scene triggers first and television states second. Inspect the rooms if you want their wall text, then approach the portrait at the end of the corridor. After Anne identifies the subject, the previously locked door on the far right opens. Enter, approach the Mini Anne sticker on the window, and return to the hall; the wall that held the portrait is now gone.

Use the newly exposed doorway on the left. After its scene, turn around and open the door opposite to enter the toilet. The sink event leaves a Paint-stained Glass to collect. Continue through the remaining hall until the Kitchen becomes available. The ringing telephone and torn canvas are on the table to the left. Listen to the call, then use the other Kitchen door and inspect the door marked Open with Art.

That inscription activates the first layer of the television puzzle. One set is close to the art door and two sets are back in the side rooms. Cycle each television until the jack-o’-lantern above it lights. The image on the screen is less important at this stage than the lamp confirming that all three sets are active. When the third indicator is on, a new doorway appears at one end of the main hall; it leads down into the basement.

Chapter 2 changes the corridor according to the shared television state. Check the screens as one system, not three separate riddles. Official Steam screenshot.

Light the jack-o’-lanterns in the basement as you pass them; they make the return trip readable. There are three television controls along the corridor. The first is near the opening stretch, the second sits near a wall drawing, and the last stands beside the closet beyond the extended corridor. Set all three to Pig. On the way back, a refrigerator appears near the second set. Open it after the scene and take the Paint Tube.

Now change the same three televisions so that all three show Woman. That shared state exposes a White Mask in the corridor. Collect it, then make one final pass and put all three on Monster. The giant head now occupies one corridor. Treat that block as a direction change: do not push toward the head.

Return to the third television while the Monster state is active and use the passage beside that set. The stairs there lead back upstairs. In the Kitchen, approach the telephone table again; Anne takes the torn Canvas and a Mini Anne scene plays. You should now have the Glass, Paint Tube, White Mask, and Canvas events behind you. Approach the Open with Art door. The rebuilt-art scene resolves the lock and starts the next Mini Anne run.

If the art door remains inert, diagnose the state in reverse order: confirm the Canvas scene played at the telephone table, confirm the White Mask was physically collected, then return below and verify that every television was changed rather than only the nearest one. The first jack-o’-lantern pass opens the basement; it does not replace the Pig and Woman passes inside it.

Chapter 3 – bring the Old Key back before going deeper

At the foot of the wooden stairs, note the locked cabinet with a drawing. Do not search for its key in the opening room. Continue past Anne’s Diary on the sink and approach the workbench. After that scene, backtrack toward the cabinet; a new route has opened deeper into the basement.

Follow it to the radio and let the audio event finish. A light then marks the continuation through a hole. The next stretch is mostly linear through wooden partitions. Notes appear on a beam and a table, with another table to the far left when you reach the brick wall. The progression item is attached to the wall drawing: inspect it to obtain the Old Key.

Taking the key changes the return trip. The lights fail, Anne carries a light, and white-robed mannequins interrupt the apparent path. Keep pressing through the route toward the workshop. They are part of the altered corridor, not evidence that the key belongs to a new side room. A mannequin drops near the end; continue until the familiar work area returns.

Open the original cabinet with the Old Key. Inside are a Pickaxe and the instruction to go deeper. The key and tool form a return loop: key from the far wall, Pickaxe from the starting cabinet, then Pickaxe back to the far wall. Retrace the route. An optional Elysium symbol can be inspected behind a crate on this second trip, but the required action is to approach the brick wall where the key was found. The tool triggers the chapter-ending scene there.

Complete the next Mini Anne sequence to move on. If the wall does nothing, check that the Pickaxe was actually collected after the cabinet opened; merely reading the note beside it is not the inventory trigger.

Chapter 4 – finish Bonnie’s errand before searching the mine

The outdoor area looks open, but several short interactions advance it in a useful order. Walk through the first greenhouse. On the far side, inspect the ladder at the tree, the candle-marked rock, the broken bridge to the shed, and the door of the second greenhouse. From that door, turn toward the lights and climb the hill.

Take the Walkie Talkie from the bench, continue to the gazebo for the Mini Anne scene, then approach the doghouse. The conversation establishes the actual objective: Anne wants to feed Bonnie. Until that scene plays, the shovel and buried can are just disconnected landmarks.

Go back down the hill and turn toward the ruined house. Enter its doorway for the memory scene. A drawing on the table can be collected, and an optional Elysium symbol is behind the last exterior pillar on the house’s right side. When you return to the shed, the formerly broken bridge has repaired itself. Cross it and take the Shovel.

Carry the Shovel to the large rock with the candle. Dig there to uncover the Dog Food, then climb back to Bonnie’s doghouse. Completing that delivery starts the mine section.

The first crying yellow figure in the tunnel is both a collectible target and the switch that starts the pursuit. Interacting with it makes the giant head appear. There are six yellow figures in total in this sequence. The readable route evidence does not establish six reliable compass coordinates, so use a controlled sweep instead of a fake map:

  • Count the on-screen symbol feedback after each figure so a repeated corridor does not make you recount one.
  • Check the recesses behind mine carts and crates before leaving a branch; those objects are the useful visual cover for the figures.
  • When the head enters your lane, reverse and sprint until the corridor gives you another branch. Do not try to confront it.
  • Resume from the last unchecked cart or crate cluster rather than restarting the entire tunnel sweep.

Finding the sixth figure ends the hunt and sends Anne into another Mini Anne nightmare. If the transition has not occurred, one figure is still unregistered; wandering to an apparent tunnel exit will not substitute for the sixth interaction.

Chapter 5 – match a cable color before pulling its plug

Follow the thick cable on the floor until it reaches the projector. The cat beside it can be petted before you start. Interacting with the projector commits you to the Mother chase, so use the room’s layout now: remember the projector as the center, the two electrical boxes as the control point, and each colored cable as a route out and back.

After the cutscene, the objective is to disconnect three cables. A plug cannot be removed safely while its line is powered. The two boxes near Anne’s waking position change the light color in the area. Configure them until the room color matches the cable you intend to follow, then trace that cable from the projector to its plug and disconnect it. Return to the boxes and repeat for the other two colors.

There is no trustworthy static left-switch/right-switch code in the supplied evidence, so use the visible color as the confirmation signal. If a plug refuses the interaction, the first thing to correct is the light color, not the cable route. Work one color from box to plug before changing the controls again; switching colors midway makes it easy to arrive at a correctly found but still powered plug.

Mother patrols the partitions while this is happening. Break contact by running back into a route you already cleared, then resume from the last control point. The objective is not to remain unseen for a timer. The chase ends only after all three plugs are disconnected. Anne blacks out, and one more Mini Anne run carries the story into Chapter 6.

Chapter 6 – light the maze before the monster rewrites the trail

Approach Mini Anne at the pool, then step to the end of the springboard and look into the water. Anne notices the submerged target but cannot retrieve it yet. Turn away from the pool and enter the hedge path. Three glitch scenes occur as you advance; the third is near the clearing with a birthday cake. Continue past that clearing into the deeper maze.

Read the note fixed to the wall on the right near the proper maze entrance. From here, switch on every lamp you pass. The lamps show where you have already searched, and the game later changes some of those lights into the escape trail. Leaving dark lamps behind makes the pursuit harder to read.

A lamp post deeper inside marks the central goal, but do not go straight to its chest. Sweep the far right section for the Blue Origami Flower and the far left section for the Red Origami Flower. Once both are collected, follow the lamp post to the center. Two pots glow in the corresponding colors. Place each flower in the matching pot, then open the central chest and take the Landing Net.

The giant head appears as soon as the chest sequence resolves. Some of the lamps now carry a purple glow. Those purple lights, not the direction you entered from memory, define the escape route. Follow them at a run until you are outside the hedge. The pursuit stops after the exit scene.

The final chapter uses a chest twice: first for the Landing Net in the maze, then for the ending interaction at the pool. Official Steam screenshot.

Return to the pool with the Landing Net and step to the springboard’s edge. After the pool scene, use the stairs to climb out. Another scene removes Mother and leaves a Purple Key on the ground. Pick it up, walk back down toward the pool, and unlock the chest there. That interaction starts the credits.

Do not quit at the first credit roll if you want the whole story sequence. A final Mini Anne nightmare plays afterward; finishing it is the end of the verified six-chapter route.

Use the video only to compare a room state

The no-commentary run below is most useful when your geometry matches the guide but an object has not activated. Compare the last scene trigger, the shared television or light color, and the exact side of the room used in the video. Button prompts can differ by platform; the landmark and state change are the durable checks.

YouTube metadata independently identifies this as Estinto’s 4K, 60 FPS, no-commentary full-game walkthrough.

Steam lists 16 achievements, but the supplied readable chapter material only points out a few optional Elysium interactions and does not prove a full archive route. This article therefore does not label those examples as an all-symbol checklist, does not promise every achievement, and does not adopt the unofficial wiki’s unsupported claims about seven chapters, three endings, combination locks, flashlight batteries, or chapter select.
