Phonopolis Achievements: Missables, Collectibles, and Cleanup Order

Felix sabotaging the parade vehicle in Phonopolis

A one-run achievement plan for Phonopolis needs two different habits. During city visits, wait for every loudspeaker animation and poster comment because those counters persist across chapter replay. Inside one-off puzzle rooms, stop before the obvious exit and secure the scene-specific condition first. The cleanest route leaves Kitchen Nightmare and Master Chef for separate visits because one rewards a mess and the other rewards avoiding it.

Research boundary: Steam listed 20 achievements when this guide was checked on July 19, 2026. The official announcement feed identified version 1.0.5 as current. Steam’s global unlock percentages change over time, so this guide uses the official names and descriptions without presenting rarity values as permanent facts.

The parade is a good achievement test: progression only requires escape, while Disarmed asks you to stop the vehicle and remove its megaphone arm deliberately.

Spoiler warning: this checklist names late districts, the final performance, and the destruction of the Absolute Tone machine.

Split the list into four kinds of work

Type Achievements Planning rule
Story or effectively automatic Hear Your Own Thoughts, End of an Era Finish the story; the headphones arrive during the required opera route.
Persistent counters Playing Leader, Street Theatre, Poster Boy Use city revisits and chapter selection; do not assume one click per loudspeaker is enough.
Single-scene conditions All Eyes On You, Locked Out, Art Inspector, Disarmed, Wet Cops, Silent Escape, Triadic Routine, Hallway Sprint, Model Citizen, Kitchen Nightmare, The Cherry on Top, Master Chef, Factory Settings, Enjoy the Silence Read the room note before completing its exit condition.
Completion meta Perfect Record Unlock the other 19; this is not a separate dossier puzzle.

External walkthroughs number some scenes differently, especially around the baths, bureau, and canteen. This guide therefore leads with landmarks and uses scene numbers only as secondary labels. The game’s chapter selection is the safer cleanup tool.

Build the three persistent counters during every city return

Playing Leader – click loudspeakers 150 times

Playing Leader uses raw loudspeaker interactions rather than unique scenes. Community cross-checks consistently identify 150 clicks, with progress carrying between visits. You do not need to grind all 150 at the first speaker. Click naturally while collecting Street Theatre reactions, then finish the remainder at any responsive loudspeaker.

Street Theatre – see 23 different citizen reactions

Street Theatre is the more demanding loudspeaker achievement. The verified community count is 23 unique citizen animations. Some loudspeakers play two or three distinct routines, and returning after story progress can replace an old routine with a new one. Wait for each animation to finish before triggering the next. If a citizen returns to the same starting pose, press the speaker again; the ending of the animation, not its opening second, distinguishes several entries.

Poster Boy – hear all 26 poster comments

Poster Boy tracks 26 poster versions or comments, including indoor material and posters whose dialogue changes after a conversation. Let Felix finish commenting before opening another. A poster that was already inspected can become a new entry when Rachel or the wanted elders gain story relevance.

Poster Boy counts information states, not just unique pieces of wall art. Revisit major propaganda after Felix learns something that changes his comment.

Use this district ledger for all 23 reactions and 26 posters

The counts below reconcile two detailed community routes. They are more reliable than external scene numbers because the same district appears in several chapter labels.

Story visit Street Theatre progress Poster Boy progress Easy miss
First free exploration of the Workers’ Quarter Reactions 1-8 Posters 1-7 Use every visible speaker before entering the numbered apartment building; also test the district elevator interaction.
Return to the Workers’ Quarter after the apartment escape Reactions 9-14 Poster 8 The blue worker repairing equipment can require three activations; recheck the wanted-elders image for its new comment.
First Bureaucratic Quarter exploration Reactions 15-18 Posters 9-10 The man drinking coffee has a multi-part routine; trigger it three times and let each version end.
Immediately after speaking with the elders about Rachel No new required total Poster 11 Inspect Rachel’s advertisement again after the conversation; Felix now has a different response.
Elders’ hiding place after the prison route No new required total Posters 12-19 Do not leave after dialogue: inspect five cards on the left and three posters on the right.
Wrench errand across the upper and lower districts Reactions 19-22 Poster 20 One upper-district speaker and three lower-district behaviors are new; the poster is part of the wrench lead but still needs its full comment.
After obtaining the wrench No new required total Posters 21-24 Four new information states appear even though the streets look familiar.
After the baths and outfit sequence Reaction 23 No new required total The final loudspeaker behavior is close to Felix on this return; run it to completion.
Canteen visit No new required total Posters 25-26 Both final poster entries are inside the canteen route.

If Steam still shows 22 of 23 reactions, repeat the multi-stage Workers’ Quarter and coffee-drinker speakers rather than replaying every chapter blindly. For a missing poster, prioritize the story-state revisits: the Rachel poster, elders’ hiding place, post-wrench district, and canteen account for entries that are not present on the first pass.

Secure the opera and apartment achievements before leaving

All Eyes On You – three faces in the ruined opera

During the Old Opera Theater stage puzzle, watch the dark balcony and surrounding shadows. Three observer faces appear at different moments. Click each face while it is visible. Do this before tearing open the final background exit; the story solution does not require any of the observers.

Hear Your Own Thoughts – collect the headphones

This unlocks when the collapsed pyramid reveals the headphones and Felix takes them. Clearing the opera stage is required for progression, so a normal completed story route should not miss it.

Locked Out – move the lower red apartment after opening the route

In the Women’s House, first use smoke to make the worker leave the staircase and take that staircase. Set up the sunbather by extending her floor, then slide the lower red apartment section to the left so she ends on the wrong side of the door. The achievement is tied to this optional building state, not simply to reaching the top floor.

Art Inspector – inspect the paintings before the elders

On entering the fourth-floor apartment, do not start the conversation with the three elders immediately. Inspect every painting or portrait in the room first. The safe completion cue is the achievement unlock; only then advance the dialogue.

Apartment scenes contain optional observation checks that do not block the exit. Inspect the room before triggering its main conversation or reaction chain.

Turn the police route into four deliberate checks

Disarmed – remove the parade machine’s arm

In the parade vehicle, expose the two control records. Pair the blue gear with minus to stop or slow the machine, then pair the red arm control with minus to lower and detach the megaphone arm. Continue the escape only after the unlock appears.

Wet Cops – keep flushing in the blue restroom

When Felix enters the blue restroom and the police appear in the three toilets, keep pressing the flush controls. The story only needs the arrest; Wet Cops needs a thorough wash, so continue until the unlock registers.

Silent Escape – never let the prison spotlight catch Felix

Connect the rotating platforms to the left lever, then move immediately after the spotlight sweeps past Felix. Pulling the lever reverses the beam. Rebuild the path toward the lower exit and use the same timing. If the siren sounds or the beam catches Felix, restart the checkpoint before completing the escape.

Hallway Sprint – solve the bureau barriers without an idle pause

This achievement belongs to the colored barrier route leading into the Phonnobureau, not the earlier apartment corridor. Community cross-checks agree on an under-two-minute condition and report that idle time counts. Their published color strings conflict, and one route report explicitly notes that the arrangement can vary, so do not memorize a universal sequence.

Before starting, identify the three colored controls and the path to the BYRO sign. Press the color of Felix’s next closed barrier, then prepare the following color while he walks. On the last bank, wait until Felix has physically crossed a barrier before changing that color again. A clean continuous route is more reliable than copying a sequence built for another layout.

The baths and bureau reward repetition without mistakes

Triadic Routine – synchronize all three dancer rounds

At the Avant-Garde Baths, first use the organ controls until the trio fills the water. Before replacing the featured dancer, find the setting where all three performers execute the same synchronized movement. Repeat the fill-and-synchronize check for each new dancer. The achievement depends on completing the trio’s routine across the changing cast, not merely obtaining Felix’s outfit.

Model Citizen – take more than the required file photo

At the bureau camera, the story needs one photograph for Felix’s file. Press the shutter several additional times before sending the dossier to the red worker. The lens condition is optional and becomes inaccessible once the file leaves the photo station.

The bureau file is a progression object, but Model Citizen belongs to the camera step before the red-grey-blue-yellow processing chain.

Use separate canteen visits for chaos and clean cooking

The Cooking Machine supports three achievements, but their conditions pull in opposite directions. Use chapter selection for at least two runs. Version 1.0.4 fixed the cookbook not closing and a canteen NPC clipping problem, so update before diagnosing a clean attempt.

Kitchen Nightmare – force the cleaner to respond

Make a deliberate mess on the machine-room floor. Community routes list the fish, cherries, milk, bulb, sausage, pudding, and sauces as throwable or spillable objects. Continue until the cleaner arrives and the achievement unlocks. Do not combine this attempt with Master Chef.

The Cherry on Top – finish the dessert and add the cherry

Open the middle question-mark panel and read the recipe. Remove the fish from the bottom freezer with the middle corkscrew. Open the middle milk bottle with the top corkscrew, pour it into the freezer, and let it become a block. Transfer the block upward through both corkscrews, place it in the middle mold, add the upper pudding mix, and heat the mold with the bottom flame. Place the finished pudding on the conveyor plate and add a cherry from the lower section. Wait for the unlock before reconfiguring the machine.

Master Chef – complete the bulb route without avoidable waste

Restart the cooking chapter. The safest interpretation of Approved for consumption is a clean floor except for the fish that must be removed from the freezer. Do not drop spare pudding, cherries, milk, sauce, sausage, or a bulb. Prepare the pudding once, keep the relevant mold and conveyor positions clean, and only then jam the sausage into the upper sauce tube.

For the safe bulb route, place the mitt on the upper level, the pudding in the center of the middle level, and a clean receiving plate on the conveyor. Eject the replacement bulb into the mitt, then use the mitt so the bulb bounces through the pudding landing into the plate. Some player comments report that one dropped pudding can still pass, but that tolerance is not a reliable target; the no-spill route avoids the conflict.

Protect the final ascent and stage conditions

Factory Settings – build the stair without touching the pin

In the platform stair below the spiral staircase, leave the lower pin or button untouched. Use this short control order: left rope 2; rod into the lowest platform; left rope 2 for two more pulls; right rope 1. The platforms become a stair without changing the pin’s factory state.

Enjoy the Silence – create the quiet stage formation

During the Avant-Garde audience performance, use the side horn players to flip the suspended upper performer into the inverted red state. Set the two side performers to red and place Felix in the round grey or orb-like costume at the bottom. Hold the formation after the sound drops away; do not cycle immediately into the next audience match. The achievement registers on the silent modernist composition.

End of an Era – finish the Absolute Tone machine

This is the story completion achievement. In the last room, make the differently colored melodies collide across five beam boards until the machine breaks. The unlock belongs to the resulting ending sequence.

Perfect Record is the final audit, not another missable room

Perfect Record unlocks after the other 19 achievements. If it remains locked, audit Steam’s individual progress before replaying the finale. The usual cleanup order is:

  1. Finish Playing Leader’s 150 loudspeaker clicks.
  2. Resolve Street Theatre at the multi-animation speakers, especially the returning Workers’ Quarter and coffee-drinker routines.
  3. Resolve Poster Boy at the story-state posters and canteen.
  4. Replay the bureau barrier for Hallway Sprint and the baths for Triadic Routine.
  5. Run the canteen separately for Kitchen Nightmare and the clean Master Chef route.
  6. Revisit the final stage for Factory Settings or Enjoy the Silence if either was skipped.

Persistent counter progress should survive chapter cleanup, but let the final animation or comment end and cross a scene boundary before judging whether a new entry saved. If the visible Steam progress and the in-game result disagree, restart the client once before repeating a long collector route.

Achievement evidence and image provenance

Steam’s official global achievement page provided the 20 names and descriptions. The Phonopolis store listing supplied AppID 1206070, Amanita Design’s credits, the May 20, 2026 date, and the original JPGs selected for this page. Official announcements set the version boundary and document the bath, upper-quarter, canteen, and cooking fixes. Multiple community checklists were compared for triggers, the 23 citizen routines, the 26 poster states, and chapter cleanup. Pages carrying Steam warning banners remained secondary checks only; none of their prose, screenshots, or unverified video was reused.
