Steam has 19 achievements for 1348 Ex Voto; the PS5 list adds the Platinum meta trophy named 1348. Most cleanup belongs to chapter replay, but Knight is different: a death-free completion is a run condition and cannot be repaired by collecting one missed item afterward.

Evidence for this roadmap was frozen July 20, 2026 using Steam’s official achievement index and the June 10 Patch 1.50 changelog. The patch changed Paper placement and value, altered the acquisition method for one unspecified Trinket, added pickup autosaves, and introduced item tracking only for saves created on version 1.50 or later. Launch collectible coordinates are therefore not treated as a current checklist.
First identify which kind of save you have
Open Load before planning cleanup. A new 1.50 save can show chapters and item tracking in the redesigned menu. A save created before 1.50 does not inherit that new tracking feature. It may still support post-story chapter replay, but you will need an external checklist or direct inspection to identify the missing category.
Do not restart only because an old file lacks the tracker. Finish the story, check which achievements actually unlocked, and use chapter replay for ordinary collection work. Start a new file when you are ready for Knight, or when the convenience of current tracking is worth replacing old progress.
Every collectible now triggers an autosave under Patch 1.50. Wait for that save to complete before quitting or changing chapters. The tracker records progress only if the acquisition was written to the file.
The 19 Steam goals form four separate jobs
| Job | Achievements | Recovery route |
|---|---|---|
| Finish the story | Chapter I-IX and Ex Voto | Continue the main route or replay the missing chapter endpoint |
| Execute five-action streaks | Blademaster, Guardmaster, Dodgemaster | Use a quiet one-enemy encounter after learning current cues |
| Finish progression and collections | Duellist, Blacksmith, Collector, Penitent | Use 1.50 tracking where available and replay incomplete chapters |
| Clear run challenges | Knight and Saint | Protect a clean run for Knight; reset the final fight for Saint |
On PS5, unlocking the underlying set awards the additional Platinum named 1348. Do not compare the PlayStation total directly with Steam’s 19 and conclude one platform is missing an achievement.
Let the nine chapter achievements audit story progress
The official chapter sequence is:
- Chapter I: Complete the Prelude.
- Chapter II: Complete the Mountains.
- Chapter III: Complete the Forest.
- Chapter IV: Complete the Villa.
- Chapter V: Complete the Town.
- Chapter VI: Complete the Ruins.
- Chapter VII: Complete the Countryside.
- Chapter VIII: Complete the Siege.
- Chapter IX: Complete the Castle.
Ex Voto follows for completing the game. If a numbered chapter is missing after the ending, replay its final checkpoint and allow the next chapter or ending transition to save before returning to the menu. Do not sweep collectibles until the story audit is clear; a missing chapter trigger and a missing item are different problems.
The supplied detailed walkthrough evidence covers Chapters I-VI only. Steam verifies the later chapter names, but achievement names do not reveal the route through Countryside, Siege, or Castle. Treat those names as progress markers, not permission to invent puzzle or boss steps.
Earn the three streaks on normal attacks and readable enemies
Blademaster requires five Perfect Attacks in a row. Patch 1.50 changed every applicable input window, added a dedicated success effect and sound, and moved controller vibration to the successful input. It also removed the Perfect Attack window from Heavy Attacks. Practice with normal one-handed attacks and count only the new confirmation, not the generic sword trail.
A Pommel now extends and shifts the Perfect Attack window in both stances. Equip one, learn its rhythm, and keep it installed for the five-link attempt. If another enemy enters the exchange, create distance rather than mashing to preserve an uncertain count.
Guardmaster asks for five Perfect Parries in succession. Base Perfect Parry is available from the beginning under 1.50 and prevents Guard damage; the purchased skill upgrade also damages the opponent’s Guard. A basic sword enemy with a clear repeated string is safer than a boss whose timing and balance were updated.
Dodgemaster asks for five Perfect Dodges in succession. The patch increased dodge responsiveness and invulnerability time and lets dodge cancel Aeta’s attacks. Stop attacking during the test. Keep one enemy centered, wait for an unmistakable strike, dodge once, reset spacing, and repeat. A crowd adds off-screen events that make the streak harder to read.
Separate Paper from the three physical collections
Duellist is awarded for unlocking all skills. Paper is the currency, not a permanent collectible set in the same sense as Sword Parts, Trinkets, and Treasures. Patch 1.50 added more Paper to each chapter, moved many pieces, and made each scroll grant the same value. Any launch guide that distinguishes fixed five-point and ten-point Paper is outdated.
A launch completion reference reported that Paper could be collected again through chapter replay. The 1.50 changelog does not explicitly confirm that farm, so do not leave the entire skill tree dependent on it. Explore during the story, spend Paper as branches open, and test one replayed scroll after the ending before assuming repeated farming still works on your build.
Blacksmith requires all Sword Parts. Version 1.50 did not merely adjust numbers: Blades now increase Guard and/or Health damage across stances, while Pommels affect the Perfect Attack window across stances. A part that looked weak in a launch list may now be worth equipping, but collection credit still depends on acquiring the part and saving.
Collector requires all Trinkets. The patch changed the acquisition method for one Trinket without naming it in the public changelog. If a launch screenshot points to an empty table or chest, search the surrounding current-version interaction and consult the item tracker. Do not conclude the save is broken from one moved acquisition.
Penitent requires all Treasures. They are primarily lore collectibles, so an achievement-focused player can audit them as a separate pass. Use the current pickup glow and turn back across cleared rooms before a one-way drop. When the tracker advances, let the collectible autosave complete.
Use the Load menu as a question, not an answer
For each incomplete chapter on a 1.50 save, ask which category is still below its recorded total:
- If Sword Parts are incomplete, inspect weapon tables, upper rooms, caves, and movable-wall secrets rather than rechecking every Paper glow.
- If Trinkets are incomplete, revisit side chambers and interaction rewards, remembering that one launch acquisition method changed.
- If Treasures are incomplete, search lore spaces and dead ends that do not offer combat power.
- If skills remain locked, collect current Paper and verify whether a replayed piece can still be banked more than once.
On an older save without item tracking, use achievement state to narrow the category first. Blacksmith, Collector, Penitent, and Duellist each name a different job. There is no reason to repeat all four routes when only one achievement remains locked.
Plan Knight before the file records a death
Knight requires completing the game without dying. Chapter select cannot erase a death from the completed run. There are two sensible plans:
Low-stress plan: use the first playthrough to learn bosses, find equipment, finish collections, and practice the three streaks. Start a clean current-version file for Knight only after the routes and healing economy are familiar.
Single-run backup plan: a launch trophy guide recommends backing up the save at least once per chapter and restoring it after a death. If you choose that route, verify how cloud synchronization works on your platform before the run. An automatic upload can overwrite the clean state, and an ordinary in-game checkpoint may already contain the failed event. This is a platform save-management method, not proof that a run remained valid.
Do not use the launch tip that suggests dying intentionally to restore Health while conserving Food. That directly conflicts with Knight. Spend early Paper on survival capacity, heal before picking up replacement Food, and enter bosses with a known loadout already saved.
Patch 1.50 improved dodge responsiveness, made base Perfect Parry available immediately, reduced crowd pressure, and rebalanced bosses. It also changed timing. Practice the current client before committing a clean run; muscle memory from a March video can be worse than no memory at all.
Make Saint a Health-meter challenge
Saint requires defeating the final boss without receiving Health damage. The achievement names Health specifically. A clean block that drains only Guard should not violate that wording, but the safest audit is visual: if Aeta’s Health moves, reset the attempt.
A launch completion guide divides the fight into three increasingly aggressive phases and recommends parry-focused Guard damage. Patch 1.50 later rebalanced every boss and changed Sword Parts and Trinkets, so keep the three-phase idea as a planning aid, not an exact timing script.
Before the trigger, equip parts whose current descriptions support predictable Guard pressure and enough defense to survive a missed parry without Health loss. Dragon’s Claw is now a five-percent chance at a five-times multiplier applied to all damage, down from a 25-percent chance at double damage. That volatility may shorten a lucky attempt, but it is not a reliable no-hit plan.
In the fight, defend through the complete string, parry the attacks you can identify, and take only a short punish. The final phase is not the place to extend a combo because the previous phase allowed it. If Health drops, reload the boss checkpoint immediately; finishing a failed attempt does not help Saint.
A practical order that avoids duplicate work
- Update to the current client and decide whether to continue an old save or create a 1.50 tracked save.
- Finish the nine chapters and verify Ex Voto before diagnosing collectibles.
- During story play, collect visible items, spend Paper, and allow every pickup autosave to finish.
- Practice Blademaster, Guardmaster, and Dodgemaster in quiet encounters when their current cues are easy to read.
- After the ending, use chapter tracking to finish Blacksmith, Collector, Penitent, and Duellist one category at a time.
- Reset the final boss until Saint unlocks; do not combine a failed Health-damage attempt with more cleanup.
- Make Knight the last clean task unless you protected the first run with tested backups.
- On PS5, confirm the Platinum 1348 after the underlying trophies; on Steam, the completed set stops at 19.
This order leaves the most fragile condition – an entire death-free run – until exploration, equipment choices, boss reads, and current timing have already been tested. It also prevents a moved Paper or Trinket from turning every chapter into a blind resweep.
