D-topia Work Puzzle Answers: Every Labor Puzzle by Day

D-topia labor puzzle showing a numbered route, multiplier, and score target

The clock is the real obstacle in D-topia‘s work puzzles. A solution still clears after a slow attempt, but the falling rank reduces the money available for food and home items. Save before the work period, identify the puzzle number, and use the matching line below as an input script rather than trying to read a long explanation while the score drains.

This answer sheet covers every labor puzzle in the verified sequence: Days 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6. Day 5 is not a missing section; the referenced work progression moves from the Day 4 logic boards to the final mixed set on Day 6. Verification on July 21, 2026 used the July 14 Steam release, the official 32-achievement list, and a current puzzle reference published after launch. No post-launch balance or puzzle patch was present in the official Steam news feed at the time of checking.

Read the route before the rank starts falling

Direction strings use U, D, L, and R for up, down, left, and right. “All R” means continue until the path stops. On block boards, a switch removes a barrier only while a piece occupies it. On route boards, addition must happen before multiplication when the target depends on both. On Day 4, do not rearrange numbered clues unless a row explicitly tells you to do so; the recorded answers are for the opening layout.

Day 1: clear the block traffic before filling goals

Day 1 teaches numbered slots, sum groups, temporary barrier switches, and dotted lines that increase a block’s value. The common failure is filling an easy slot too early and trapping the piece needed behind it.

Puzzle Moves and decision point
1-1 Drag the unnumbered yellow piece straight right into its matching recess.
1-2 Move block 2 out of the corridor first. The lane then opens for block 1 to enter its goal.
2-1 Send 1 and 2 upward into the highlighted group; together they satisfy the target of 3.
2-2 Build the right-side 5 with block 3 and the upper block 2. Put the remaining 1 and 2 in the left pair to make 3.
3-1 Place the blank yellow piece on the upper switch. When the wall retracts, slide block 1 left into place.
3-2 Raise 1 onto the switch, park 2 in the lower-right recess, then take 1 down and left. Lift 2 onto the switch, move 1 left and down into its goal, and lower 2 into the remaining recess.
4-1 Push 1 right through the dotted modifier. It becomes 2 and can continue into the target.
4-2 Park 1 above or below the center, then put the original 2 in the opposite right recess. Send 1 left through the dotted modifier to create a second 2 and fill the other recess.
5-1 Shift the blank piece left and up. Put 2 in the lower-left goal, move 3 to the bottom row, slide 1 left into its recess, then raise 3 into the last goal.
5-2 Start with 2: move it left until it sits beside the barrier. Use another piece on the switch, move 2 to the far-left cell, and park a 1 beside the barrier. Put the untouched piece on the switch, take the far-left 1 left then up, and finish by moving the switch piece to the far-left goal. If block 2 is left until last, the board can no longer route it cleanly.
5-3 Put the rightmost 1 beside the wall and the next 1 on the switch. Route the upper 1 left and down across the modifier so it becomes 2. Place that 2 at the upper-right and 3 beside it to make 5, then move the final 1 down-left and up into the open recess.
5-4 Move 3 right onto the switch. Route 1 down and right, then up into its goal. Bring 4 right and down so it waits immediately left of 3; this prevents it being sealed away. Put 3 in the right recess, then slide 4 all the way right.

Day 2: preserve the last corridor in every line maze

A line cannot cross itself or escape a dead end. Read the whole string before moving. In puzzles with numbered nodes, collect them in the stated order; in mirror boards, your duplicate line must still have a lane when the main line turns toward the exit.

Puzzle Route
1-1 R straight to the other endpoint.
1-2 R - D - R - U - R - D - R.
2-1 Go up first and pass through the 1 node. From there, follow the only corridor that still reaches the exit; the lower opening is a dead end if chosen first.
2-2 Collect the rightmost 1 first, sweep left through the other 1 nodes, and keep the bottom lane unused for the final approach.
3-1 Turn down before entering the multiplier section, then go right and up through X2 before taking the exit.
3-2 Go down and then all the way right. Pick up the 1 before crossing X2 so the addition is doubled into the target value of 4.
4-1 R - D, then leave the mirror area with R - U.
4-2 Go all the way right, turn up inside the right mirror zone, then L - U and all the way right. The copy collects the left 1 while the main line takes the right 1.
5-1 U - R - U - R - D - R - D - all R - U - R.
5-2 R - U - R to the upper 1; then D - all L - D to the left 1. Finish with R - D - all R - all U - R - all D - R.
5-3 Go up early, turn right for the upper 1, then go down through X2 and return to the lower lane. Continue right for the second 1, then U - L - all U - R to the goal.
5-4 Move up before the left mirror zone, then R - D to take the left 1 and land on the bottom route. Go all the way right, up, and all the way right again.

Day 3: make the step total before touching the finish

Every movement adds a step value. Multipliers affect the route state, warps relocate it, and movable blocks can remove the only tile needed later. If the displayed subtotal differs from the checkpoint named below, reset immediately instead of trying to repair the tail of the route.

Puzzle Route and subtotal checks
1-1 Move right until the finish.
1-2 D - R - U - R - D - R - U.
2-1 Trigger the multiplier before approaching the goal, then use the same D - R - U - R - D - R - U zigzag.
2-2 D to the checkpoint marked 3, then R onto X2, followed by U - L - D - R.
3-1 Go all the way right into the warp. When the destination shows 4, move left to finish on 6.
3-2 D - R - U fills the opening square; then enter the upper warp. From the lower warp at 6, use R - U - L to reach 10.
4-1 Move right and push the obstacle one cell right. The freed tile makes D - L reach the goal at 6.
4-2 Push the obstacle right, step down and right, and push it again from below to open the board. Return to the tile showing 3, then use R - D - L - D to finish on 8.
5-1 D - L - U reaches 4. Continue L - U - R to X2, then alternate down and up through the remaining lane until the finish shows 14.
5-2 D - R pushes the first obstruction right. Return to 2, go down into the warp, then move left and push the other obstruction upward. Return to 5 and finish with L - U - all R - D on 11.
5-3 Go all the way right and down, then push the obstacle into the far-left cell. Return to tile 1 and zigzag down/up around the square until 4. Go all the way right, then U - L into the upper warp. When the lower warp becomes 9, use U - R - D for 12.
5-4 Go up through X2, then R - D to checkpoint 6. Zigzag to the left warp. Once 10 appears on the right side, finish with D - R - U - L on 16.

Day 4: mark the opening board, not a moved clue state

These are count-constraint boards. A checked blank contributes to the neighboring orange clue. The 3-x tutorial allows clue tiles to move, but the solution below deliberately leaves them in their initial positions; moving them changes the displayed counts and invalidates the landmarks.

Puzzle Blank cells to check
1-1 All four blanks surrounding the orange numbered cell.
1-2 The blank upper-right of orange 1, plus the two blanks flanking orange 2.
1-3 The blank upper-right of the lower 1, and both blanks immediately right of orange 3.
2-1 All four blanks around orange 4.
2-2 The topmost blank, the down-right blank associated with each of the two 2 clues, and the far-left blank.
2-3 The two blanks beside orange 2 and the far-right blank.
3-1 Without moving a clue, check only the blank at the upper-right.
3-2 Keep the clues still and check the three blanks below and to the right of orange 1.
3-3 Check the two blanks left of orange 2, plus the blanks directly above and below orange 3.
4-1 The upper-right, upper-left, and lower-left blanks, plus the blank immediately above the orange cluster near the bottom.
4-2 Both lowest blanks, both cells directly below orange 2, and the blank directly above orange 1.
4-3 Both top blanks, both bottom blanks, and the blank upper-right of the rightmost orange 2.

Day 6: treat each board as a mechanism check

The final workday recombines all four systems. Confirm the intermediate value or piece position before continuing. A wrong subtotal after a warp and a block stranded behind a barrier are both reset signals; forcing more inputs only makes the failure harder to diagnose.

Puzzle Final-day solution
1-1 Take 2 to the far right. Put 1 on the barrier switch and move 2 into either right recess. Shift 1 right, then place either 3 or 4 on the switch and put 1 in the unused right recess. Complete both sums by leaving 3 to the left of 2 and 4 to the left of 1.
1-2 Send the left block 3 through both dotted modifiers to turn it into 5. Move 2 up and left into its goal, then route the remaining 3 up and right. Shift 5 left long enough to move 1 to the upper-left goal, then put 5 in the lower-right. Either starting 3 can be converted.
2-1 R; at the second vertical, go U - L - U for the first 1. Use R - D - R - U for the second, then R - D - L - D - R for the third. Go all the way up, then R - all D - R through the final 1 and exit.
2-2 On the second vertical go up; on the second horizontal go left, then U - R - D for the upper-left 1. Go right and immediately down through the first X2, then R - D for the lower-right 1. Finish U - L through the other X2, followed by U - R - U - R.
3-1 Move right until the counter reaches 3, then all D - L - U to 10. Turn right into the warp; it produces 12 at the upper-right. From there use R - all D - L - U to finish on 18.
3-2 D - R reaches 3; push the obstruction upward. Return to the start, take R - D back to 3, then L - D - all R - U - R into X2 at step 10. Use D - R for 12 and finish U - R - D - L - D on 20.
4-1 Check the two upper-left blanks, the lower-left blank, the upper-right blank, and the cell below the rightmost orange 2.
4-2 Check the blanks upper-right and lower-right of orange 2, the next blank diagonally down-right from that lower cell, and the board’s overall upper-right blank.
5-1 Move 3 right onto the switch. Put 4 in the lower-right recess beside the sum-5 marker and send 2 all the way left into its recess. Take 3 to the lower-left, then slide 2 all the way right onto the switch. Put 3 to the right of the sum-4 marker, place 1 in the middle recess shared by the 4 and 5 groups, and return 2 to its own goal.
5-2 Start right; once the mirror reaches the leftmost 1, turn up. Turn left at the earliest opening, then use U - R - D after the next 1. Finish R - D - R - D - R; the duplicate line takes the last 1.
5-3 Enter the right warp, arrive over the movable block at 5, and shove it downward. Return to 2, move up and all the way right to displace it again. Reset to the opening cell, go up through 3 to 5, and turn right into the warp. Then L - U - R - D until 15, followed by all U - L - U - R to finish on 22.
5-4 Check every blank around orange 4, the two blanks below orange 3, and the blank lower-right of the rightmost orange 2.

Use the home computer to isolate the missing clear

After the final workday, inspect the labor puzzles from the home computer instead of replaying the week blindly. If Puzzleholic has not unlocked, compare the completed state of the optional 5-x rows first; they are easiest to skip when the required shift has already paid out. A completed board with a poor rank still counts as a clear, while a board abandoned after its payout meter fell does not.

If the current client shows a layout that does not match a landmark above, stop before entering more moves. Verify the day and puzzle number, reset the board to its initial state, and prefer the visible target value over an old screenshot. This guide is tied to the July 21 launch build and does not claim that future patches will preserve every tile arrangement.
