The safest Secrets of Blackrock Manor walkthrough separates fixed inputs from puzzles that must be rebuilt from the screen in front of you. Enter the number and key sequences below exactly, but derive the lion shield, wine bottles, telescope stars, carpet knobs, family books, and office drawer wall from your own clues. The manor has eight rooms in a fixed order, and the run is not finished until you assemble and read the torn letter in the vault.

Spoiler boundary: every room solution and the ending are below. The numbered inputs describe the released PC puzzle logic. Where a board is visual, reproduce the rule rather than an external screenshot; a rotated view can make a correct picture wrong for the state shown in your game.
Carry one family record through the first half of the manor
The foyer, kitchen, Vincent’s room, and dining room are not four unrelated code hunts. They build a reusable record of the five Blackrocks, their symbols, and their colors. Keep the names Vincent, Emma, Augustus, Charles, and Amelia together as you move forward; the dining room later asks you to translate a family photograph through information introduced on the portraits.
Foyer
Open the upper drawer near the clocks and use its newspaper to identify the people in the portraits. Only Vincent fits the unlabelled young man. The colored bookshelf opposite him assigns one color to each letter; reading V-I-N-C-E-N-T there gives blue, green, blue, yellow, red, blue, pink. Put that sequence into the portrait device. Its name plate releases the clock hand, while the neighboring drawers hold the green lion tile.
Upstairs, take the blue lion tile and inspect the twelve switches under the portrait of Emma and Augustus. The panel is a plan of the foyer: copy the on/off state of the lamps below instead of treating the switches as a free-standing pattern. A correct panel reveals center, west, south, east, north. Match those directions to manor, maze, gate, forest, sea on the painting, arrange the candles in that order, and read their heights as 25324. That chest contains the red lion tile.
Attach the recovered hand to the clocks and use these four red/blue pairs from left to right:
- red at 10, blue at 2;
- blue at 9, red at 3;
- red at 8, blue at 4;
- blue at 7, red at 5.
The yellow lion tile completes the set. For the empty shield, compare the three finished shields and place each color in the one quadrant where that color has not already appeared. The invariant is “each color uses every quadrant once,” not a particular screenshot orientation. The bookcase opens and Interesting… confirms the foyer clear.
Kitchen
Count the marked storage before touching the cooker: 3 forks, 4 knives, 5 spoons, and 0 cups. The trolley associates those categories with the cooker colors, producing 5-0-3-4. Inside the oven, the notebook gives egg 2, chick 9, chicken 6, roast chicken 4. Put the plates in life-cycle order, then obey the hourglass reversal on the cabinet and enter 4692.
The low cupboards provide the Greek constraints for the pans. Hang them Epsilon, Gamma, Alpha, Delta, Beta, then use the newly exposed family notes to arrange the name plates Vincent, Emma, Augustus, Charles, Amelia. Set the tea-city dials from left to right to Galway bottom-right, London bottom-left, Glasgow top-left, Sunderland top, Birmingham top-right.
Do not approach the wine rack as a mirror or rotation. The lower-left cabinet is a “before” sample and the lower-right cabinet is its “after” sample. Learn every color replacement from that pair, keep each bottle position fixed, and apply those replacements to the upper-left pattern when building the upper-right rack. For example, an orange bottle changes to green and a white bottle changes to pink in the observed mapping; derive the remaining colors from your two lower cabinets. If a lower cabinet is still shut, finish both the sand-timer and tea branches first. The wine passage and Tea time! are the real completion signals.
Vincent’s room

The note beside the music sheets defines a black note as 1 and a white note as 2. Sheets I–IV total 6, 3, 9, 8, so open the wardrobe with 6398. Run the metronome three times and set the wall clocks to 2, 4, and 7. Use the revealed key, read the letter in the floor chest, and order the photographs train, river, beach, mountains, forest.
The ballerina plays six groups containing 5, 3, 2, 4, 2, and 1 notes. Match each count to the numbered photograph and press the instrument shown with that photograph. In the reference labeling, the sequence is xylophone, harp, violin, drum, violin, recorder. If you entered part of the sequence earlier, deliberately trigger the wrong-answer signal to clear the remembered input, then start again with all six groups.
Inside the piano, point the blue symbol on the center hex upward and rotate the surrounding pieces until every touching edge carries the same symbol. After the front opens, label the seven white keys 1 through 7 and enter 1-3-2-3-4. The exit and The plot thickens confirm that no music step remains.
Dining room

Use the serving-trolley letter and portrait plaques to seat the symbols: spiral/Vincent at top-left, star/Amelia at bottom-left, lightning/Charles at top-middle, water drop/Emma at bottom-middle, and hourglass/Augustus at the far right. The table panel and clock hands then resolve to filled square 5, filled diamond 1, hollow diamond 8, filled hexagon 3.
The arrow bookshelf is arithmetic, not a picture to memorize. A dot on the left turns the printed arrow 90 degrees counter-clockwise; a dot on the right turns it 90 degrees clockwise. Cancel equal numbers of left and right dots, then apply only the remaining quarter-turns. The five rows finish as right, right, down, left, down. If the red book does not appear, redo one row at a time from its printed arrow instead of rotating all five again.
Build the gun code by taking the first digit from the first model, the second from the second, and so on: 4476. Put the medal rings, outside to inside, at square, U-shape, square, C-shape. For the final shelf, identify the people in the newly found photograph from left to right, look up each person’s portrait-corner color, and order the books by those colors. This method is safer than copying a finished color row because it exposes the exact mistaken identity when the shelf stays closed. The passage awards Table manners.
Read Amelia’s room and the recreation room as pictures, not passwords
Amelia’s room
Set the telescope to blue 180 degrees, pink 135 degrees, yellow 270 degrees. Look through it, then reproduce the lit constellation on the wall grid. The angles are fixed; the star picture is the part you should copy from the current view rather than from a guide image.
Count the dresser objects as 5 rectangles, 8 circles, and 4 diamonds. The star chest asks for the point count on one, two, three, and four stars, giving 6453. Use the green book’s line intersections on the four charts to enter D3, C2, C4, B5.
Read Amelia’s diary against the moon calendar and press, in date order, May 2 Zeta (third), May 7 Beta (second), May 18 Delta (fourth), May 28 Alpha (first), May 29 Delta (fourth). The numbered card indexes words on the poster to spell LIES. Enter that on the right wardrobe door; the false back opens and Reach for the stars marks the room clear.
Recreation room

Each silver knob represents one pair of filled and empty circles from the carpet. Copy the pair shapes as displayed, not the absolute angle of somebody else’s knobs. The opened shelf supplies the next objects. Read the paired corner marks on the two rocking chairs and rotate the missing-tile chest to match them, then align blue, the water-drop symbol, and 5 on the round puzzle.
Touch the chess pieces in this order:
- white pawn on a white square;
- white king on a black square;
- white knight on a white square;
- white pawn on a black square;
- black king on a black square.
Follow the maze revealed under the chessboard through the five book symbols. They translate to Music, Science, History, Art, Language, or MSHAL for the horse mechanism. The drawer then shows dice whose opposite faces give 4, 1, 5, 2, 3. Put the trophies in that bottom-face order. When the fireplace opens and No time for games appears, continue upstairs.
Augustus’s office closes only when both desk drawers are open

The wall of small drawers is the meeting point, not the first puzzle to brute-force. One office branch opens the lower-left desk drawer and the other opens the lower-right. Each contains only half of the blue cross pattern; working from one sheet cannot open the passage.
The journal and lever branch
Combine the appointment dates with the direction note to point the five guns: 1822 Mr. D up, 1835 Mr. E down, 1842 Mr. H left, 1851 Mr. F down, 1859 Mr. G right. The lever chart multiplies each colored bar’s printed value by its height, producing green 4, purple 10, blue 9, red 8, yellow 5. Flip the chart and place each lever beside the row labelled with its product. Read the numbers as row destinations, not as one combination.
The symbol, map, and animal branch
The marked tutorial drawer defines a circle as 3 and every line as subtracting 1. Evaluate the five symbols on the pillar, then read the illuminated house windows left to right for 41254. Place the recovered paper over the map logic, draw the requested shapes around the marked locations, and translate the results to the five desk buttons: 5-2-1-3-5.
The raised map reveals the animal sets. Press wolf, lion, deer, bear, spotted cat, wolf. Community labels disagree on whether the spotted feline is a lynx or leopard, so identify the mounted head by its markings rather than the translated species name.
Merge the two blue grids
After both lower desk drawers are open, close the tutorial drawer and compare the two blue sheets as one overlay. On the 7-by-5 wall, open every cell marked by a cross on either sheet and leave the other cells closed. If nothing happens, the useful failure check is simple: confirm that both lower desk drawers are open and that no tutorial drawer remains pulled out. The completed overlay opens the passage and awards The truth is close.
Vincent’s cell ends on five positions played twice
Open both halves of the cell route
The desk box wants the butler’s name, and the nearby letter supplies MARK. For the right-wall device, start from the ring’s indicated symbol and move left, passing one extra position for every circle drawn on the clue. That produces bass clef, alto clef, crotchet rest, bass clef.
Four painted versions of LET ME GO omit different strokes. Compare them one row at a time with the complete letter shapes. Activate the segment absent from T in row one, from E in row two, from both M and G in row three, and from L in row four. That branch gives you the piano key.
For the other branch, scan the corridor markings upward from the floor; their vertical order puts the sticky notes at 3-5-2-1-4. Choose the curved or angular variants indicated under the pillow, then press the stones 2-1-4-3-5. Finally count the marked objects for the inequality dials: lantern 8, piano 6, door 10, bed 5, chair 12. Assign those totals to A–E using the wall inequalities to expose the music-box clue.
Play all ten final notes
Number the seven white keys from left to right. The picture describes five positions—first, last, second, second-last, first—but every position must be pressed twice. Enter 11-77-22-66-11 as one ten-key sequence. A developer clarification says version 1.0.2 added a visual cue for the doubled hits, so follow that cue if it is visible in your build. If you may have left a partial input active, use the puzzle’s failure feedback or reload the puzzle state, then restart from the first pair. The opened compartment and A cruel fate are the cell clear.
Finish at the vault podium
Take the cell key, open the room across the hall, and collect the vault key from its desk. Return to the vault and descend. Two separate letter fragments lie below; collect each one, join them on the podium, and read the assembled message. Entering the vault is not the completion trigger; reading that letter is what awards Secrets of Blackrock Manor.
A finished run shows nine progress achievements in this order: Interesting…, Tea time!, The plot thickens, Table manners, Reach for the stars, No time for games, The truth is close, A cruel fate, and Secrets of Blackrock Manor. A gap among the first eight points to the corresponding room’s final mechanism. If only the ninth is absent, inspect the floor for the other letter fragment and repeat the podium reading.
Once the completed letter has been read and the ninth achievement appears, the walkthrough is closed. For another room-by-room escape game, continue with the Escape From Mystwood Mansion walkthrough or the Secrets of Velendar Castle walkthrough.
The official Steam page identifies Biri Biri’s game as an eight-room escape adventure. That eight-room boundary is the scope used above.
