Use Perfect Order—not Master Organizer or Keeper of the Cellar—as the signal that Cellar Keeper is actually finished. The official achievements award Master Organizer at 200 racks and Keeper of the Cellar at 400. Only Perfect Order requires every rack and a fully restored cellar. No Shortcuts belongs to a separate Speedrun Mode clear.
That distinction corrects several launch-week fan references that assign the wrong requirements to those names. Your first target is a single restoration with all 2,448 bottles returned to racks by variety; the Speedrun branch matters only if you also want all ten achievements.
The finish line is Perfect Order
This guide covers the Windows release checked on August 9, 2026, after Hotfix #2. Its ten Steam achievements measure progress more reliably than a guessed percentage. Six specify exact rack counts; the others track carrying ten bottles, unlocking every skill, completing the restoration, and finishing Speedrun Mode. Treat each requirement as a separate state instead of forcing them into a presumed unlock order.
| Achievement | Official requirement | Useful interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| First Rack | Complete your first rack. | The placement loop can close a rack. |
| Juggling Act | Hold 10 bottles at the same time. | This checks a held state, not rack progress. |
| Getting Organized | Complete 10 racks. | The first rack was not an isolated success. |
| Rack by Rack | Complete 50 racks. | You have reached the first substantial count audit. |
| Peak Efficiency | Unlock every skill. | Upgrade collection is complete, regardless of rack count. |
| Cellar Expert | Complete 100 racks. | One quarter of the 400-rack milestone is confirmed. |
| Master Organizer | Complete 200 racks. | This is the midpoint milestone, not the Speedrun trophy. |
| Keeper of the Cellar | Complete 400 racks. | Four hundred racks are done; the cellar may not be. |
| Perfect Order | Complete every rack and fully restore the cellar. | This is the full-restoration check. |
| No Shortcuts | Complete Speedrun Mode. | This closes the separate no-upgrade mode. |
If Master Organizer appears while the floor still looks chaotic, nothing has failed: the game has confirmed 200 completed racks. If Keeper of the Cellar appears but Perfect Order does not, treat 400 as the start of a final audit rather than permission to stop.
Build the Cozy restoration around rack sections
For a first restoration, Cozy Mode provides the clearest planning environment because the official description gives it no time limit and allows skill unlocks. Speedrun removes those upgrades and records a leaderboard time. Bringing those restrictions into your first cleanup makes the job harder without changing what Perfect Order asks you to prove.
Choose one variety destination, collect bottles for that area, and close partial racks there before opening another distant cleanup front. This section-by-section method is planning advice from the supplied completion reference, not a hidden scoring rule. Its value is that every unfinished destination remains visible as a local job instead of becoming one cellar-wide pile whose progress is hard to judge.
Give the carry counter, variety, and Quick Order different jobs
Juggling Act supplies one exact carry target: ten bottles at the same time. Hotfix #2 added a current-carry counter to the UI, so that state no longer needs to be counted manually. Reach ten once for the achievement; after that, a coherent destination is more useful than filling every trip with unrelated nearby labels.
Variety chooses the destination. The counter verifies quantity. Quick Order handles a third question: since Hotfix #1 it sorts held bottles alphabetically by brand and then by serial number. A neatly ordered held list can therefore still contain several varieties. When that happens, split it by destination before walking farther; internal order has not solved the route.

At 400 racks, change from hauling to inspection
The 50-, 100-, and 200-rack unlocks are periodic checks that the current cleanup method is still producing finished racks. The 400-rack unlock changes the question. You are no longer trying to prove that the method works; you are looking for the incomplete rack or unresolved bottle that separates Keeper of the Cellar from Perfect Order.
Stop judging progress by the amount of clutter near the entrance. Revisit the destinations on the current map one section at a time, and finish each partial run before moving on. A nearly clean starting area cannot confirm a distant section, and the 400-rack achievement cannot confirm the final partial rack. Perfect Order itself is the only observable finish.
Use the patched client when an old reference disagrees
Launch-era transcriptions can create false “missing bottle” searches. Hotfix #1 corrected a Kestrel Ridge spelling error on a Sangiovese bottle and fixed the Riesling symbol on cellar maps. Hotfix #2 corrected additional bottle naming and spelling issues, but its notes do not publish a complete list of every changed label.
Keep the current variety assignment, but use the spelling and map symbol shown by the updated client. If an older guide differs, update the game, reread the bottle’s variety, and check the current map symbol instead of inventing a second bottle identity. If those two current signals still disagree, postpone the placement. Guessing at a match is more likely to hide the last unresolved item than to complete the rack.
This is also why the guide does not reproduce a launch-week brand catalog. A copied catalog can retain text the developer has corrected; the official completion states and the current client are the safer final audit.
Choose between Perfect Order and all ten achievements
Your first run is complete when every rack is finished and Perfect Order unlocks. You can also pursue Peak Efficiency during that skill-enabled Cozy restoration because its official requirement is to unlock every skill. Neither result changes Master Organizer’s stated 200-rack requirement.
Only begin the remaining branch if all ten achievements are your goal. No Shortcuts requires a Speedrun Mode completion, and the official mode description removes skill upgrades there. Enter after the map, variety destinations, and rack sequence are familiar enough to replace the assistance available in Cozy. Repeating rack cleanup after Perfect Order will not satisfy this condition.
If you wanted the restored cellar and the keeper’s release, Perfect Order is the stopping point. If you wanted every achievement, the Speedrun clear is the one remaining finish. The verified Windows listing and current developer updates are on the official Cellar Keeper Steam page.
