Machine Party Minigame Strategy Guide: Win Conditions, Safe Routes, and Achievement Setups

Machine Party changes the task before one bad instinct has time to cool down. A fast input wins Wrong Way, but the same hurry ruins The Filter, exposes you in Table Manners, and turns a safe Minefield scan into a collision. The reliable response is a three-part check: identify what ends the round, secure the space or object that keeps you alive, and interfere only after that state is stable.

This guide applies that check to all 15 launch minigames and pairs each one with its Steam achievement condition. It was verified on August 10, 2026 against the released Steam listing, the official achievement page, the v1.5 update, and launch-week play reports. The update added Arcade, a shorter set of 10 random simulations, so an Arcade run is not proof that your group has seen the whole pool.

Make the briefing answer three questions

Do not ready up after recognizing only the movement keys. Read until you can say what counts as success, what immediately makes the attempt worse, and which player or object can interrupt you. Those answers separate similar-looking rounds. Firearm Factory and Forklift Certified both move objects through shared space, for example, but one demands the parts shown by your own recipe while the other cares about crates resting inside your deposit area.

Use the first encounter as reconnaissance. Watch the full resolution after elimination, then add only the simulations that still caused confusion to the next custom selection. Arcade is useful for a quick v1.5 session, but its 10 random picks cannot guarantee coverage of the 15-game pool. If the objective page or current client disagrees with a launch-week route below, the in-game instruction wins.

Simulation State that matters most Achievement check
Chisel Gauntlet Submit the remembered cube, not a plausible shape Flourished Memories: survive until the maximum segment-removal state
Wrong Way Keep a clean cardinal-input rhythm Stairmaster: make 50 correct steps consecutively
The Filter Classify before choosing burn or recycle Just another day at the job.: win with perfect accuracy
Table Manners Complete one plate-to-mouth trip per safe look-away window Gluttony: finish the meal in less than 20 seconds
Firearm Factory Insert the parts from your own recipe at your station Quick draw!: kill a player who completed a gun before you
Minefield Trade scanning time against the harvester closing from behind Leg it!: reach the exit without sonar
Duck Hunt Use the Hunter’s shot and aim direction to time crossings BOOM HEADSHOT!: land a headshot as the Hunter
Stable Footing Move to the symbol selected for the current drop Mind the gap.: remain alive when only 10 tiles are left
Tunnel Hazard Enter a green nook and protect its opening This is my hole.: win by claiming the final nook
Inside Job Search systematically, then change roles the instant the syringe appears About those TPS reports.: infect a player within three seconds of finding it
Debris Platforms Keep your own platform below its danger state Catch this!: knock someone off with a thrown crate
Spinebreaker Preserve an open throw lane before the attached timer expires Dodge this!: throw the device with less than one second left
Lethal Rebound Read the return lane of the closest bouncing saw Will it blend?: push 15 players into hacksaws
Forklift Certified Lower each crate fully inside your marked deposit Mine. All mine!: hold four crates in that area
Smoking Break Finish each exhale before beginning another pull Full Pack: smoke 20 cigarettes in total

Precision rounds punish the extra input

Chisel Gauntlet: encode the target before touching the cube

Chisel Gauntlet briefly presents a target, then asks you to remove segments from your cube and submit the match. Convert the target into a compact description before carving—face first, then location, such as “front upper pair; right rear corner.” Remove the most distinctive piece, rotate to expose any hidden side, and compare what remains rather than celebrating what was removed.

A reset fixes an accidental cut but does not restore a forgotten target. Stop immediately after a clear mistake and reconstruct the description you made; random extra cuts only turn one error into an unrecoverable submission. Flourished Memories does not supply an exact round number on Steam. Keep clearing the increasingly reduced shapes until the game recognizes the maximum-segment condition instead of leaving after one difficult cube.

Wrong Way: watch the prompt, not the character

The escalator already supplies the losing movement, so every glance away from the directional row costs ground. Read only the next small cluster and use a device that gives unambiguous cardinal presses—a D-pad or separate arrow keys can be easier to control than rolling an analog stick. After one wrong direction, return to deliberate single inputs; panic-mashing creates more slowdown without repairing the broken streak.

Stairmaster asks for 50 correct steps in a row, not merely a win. Treat a visible error as the end of that achievement attempt, finish the round normally, and repeat it later. Chasing the other players’ cadence is a distraction because their prompt and recovery state do not prove yours.

The Filter: decide what the object is before choosing its exit

The Filter uses a two-category rule: art is burned and technology is recycled. Material alone can mislead, so classify the object’s purpose before pressing either action. Begin slowly enough to establish the mapping, then increase the pace only when recognition becomes automatic. An unfamiliar object is a reason to wait for a clearer read, not a reason to guess.

The related achievement requires both a round win and 100% accuracy. Once one item goes to the wrong side, the perfect run is over even if your score remains competitive. Switch back to the ordinary win condition, learn the object that caused the miss, and save the accuracy target for a clean repeat.

Table Manners: use the host’s head as the clock

Start a plate-to-mouth cycle as the host looks away, finish it, and become still before the next check. Loading several peas can reduce the number of trips, but a large pickup begun late in the safe window leaves the fork moving when the host turns. Front-load the larger bites and use a smaller final transfer instead of gambling the entire meal on one overfilled fork.

Gluttony sets a sub-20-second finish. Speed comes from immediate starts and productive fork loads inside safe windows, not from moving while observed. If you are repeatedly caught, shorten the trip and establish the look-away rhythm before attempting the timer again.

Firearm Factory: finish your recipe, then choose the shot

Read the part silhouettes assigned to your own station. Collect a confirmed piece, return it, and insert it before searching for the next; a correct part left beside the bench is not progress, and another player’s recipe is not a substitute for yours. Once someone becomes armed, stop wandering for uncertain pieces. Use factory cover, survive the first firing lane, and finish only a route you already understand.

Quick draw! deliberately reverses the normal race. Another player must assemble first, then you must complete your gun and kill that earlier assembler. If that target dies before your weapon is ready, winning with a shot at somebody else will not meet the written condition. Abandon the achievement setup and play out the round.

Route rounds are won before the choke point

Minefield: scan in stages, not at every footstep

Take a broad sonar read from stable ground, choose a wide visible gap, move into it, and scan again before changing direction. Do not crowd directly behind another player: a blocked lane or shove near a mine can invalidate the route both of you were following. The harvester turns excessive caution into its own failure, so commit toward the exit when one more scan would surrender the remaining distance to the machine behind you.

Learn this rhythm with sonar before attempting Leg it!. During the no-sonar run, a clean path demonstrated by another player is evidence, but leave enough spacing to avoid contact. Return toward the last proven line if the route closes; an untested diagonal is not a shortcut simply because the harvester is visible.

Duck Hunt: both roles act on the same shot window

Runners should move between cover immediately after a shot or while the Hunter turns toward somebody else. Hiding forever gives the Hunter time to hold the exit lanes, while crossing alone through a watched lane offers an easy follow-up. Change cover after being spotted and use another Runner’s pressure as a movement window rather than as scenery.

The Hunter should hold a useful lane near head height, but not refuse a clear stopping shot while waiting for perfection. The laser reveals the watched angle, so occasional repositioning prevents the Runners from solving one static sightline. BOOM HEADSHOT! requires the precision hit; take that attempt from a prepared lane rather than swinging across every moving target.

Stable Footing: reset your eyes to the new symbol

Read the current indicator before looking for a tile. The square that survived the last drop has no special claim on the next one. Early on, take an isolated matching tile and stand away from its edges. As routes disappear, move sooner so the group cannot occupy the only clean approach; push only after your feet and an escape option are secure.

The safe symbol is a current instruction, not a permanent route through the floor. Official Steam screenshot.

For Mind the gap., aggression becomes less useful as the board approaches 10 remaining tiles. An unnecessary shove can remove you before the threshold the achievement measures. Near that state, center yourself and attack only to escape direct pressure.

Tunnel Hazard: fight from inside the nook

Wait near the middle until the green safe nooks are readable, then enter the nearest viable one directly. Approaching along the wall invites a body block, and stopping at the mouth leaves your back one push away from the train lane. Move to the deepest stable point and face outward before deciding whether an approaching player must be displaced.

When only one nook remains, route choice has ended. This is my hole. is won by taking that final space, so get inside before trying to push. The useful angle places the opponent between you and the opening; pushing from outside can make room for them while leaving you exposed.

Inside Job: make the syringe change the whole plan

Search furniture in a consistent direction instead of reopening objects somebody else has already checked. Once the syringe appears, searching is over. Close on the nearest reachable player before the room understands your new role. Infected players should split the remaining exits rather than all chasing the same survivor through one corridor; uninfected players should move when that group commits to the wrong side.

The three-second requirement for About those TPS reports. is best attempted with a willing target already near the furniture being searched. If the syringe appears with everyone across the office, the setup has failed. Use it for the round instead of wasting time on a chase that cannot satisfy the short window.

Clear your own danger before spending time on sabotage

Debris Platforms: red means stop aiming

Remove the closest large junk from your own platform before lining up an attack. When its warning state worsens, throw for clearance in any safe direction; a carefully aimed sabotage does nothing if the machine eliminates you under your own pile. Once stable, select a player close to an edge and throw through the open space behind them, where the hit has room to cause a fall.

Catch this! requires the thrown crate to knock the player off. Merely adding weight or clutter to their platform is useful match pressure but a different result. Preserve your floor, wait for an edge target, and distinguish a successful hit from the achievement’s actual elimination.

Spinebreaker: build the transfer lane early

While the device is chasing, keep enough open space to turn; a corner that briefly breaks its line also removes your escape when it comes around. After attachment, face a reachable player and aim the transfer into their torso instead of placing the device beside their feet. In a normal round, pass it early enough to survive instead of treating every possession as an achievement attempt.

For Dodge this!, agree on a stationary target and open lane before the timer reaches its final second. Hold only when the receiver is still aligned, then release below one second. If a barrier or another player blocks the route, throw safely and repeat later; the achievement does not reward dying with perfect timing and no connection.

Lethal Rebound: move after the pass, not before the return

Follow one bouncing saw long enough to understand both its current lane and its rebound. Move just after the closest pass while preserving a second exit, because a corner can become a trap when another player pushes across it. Early attacks offer little value in an open arena. Wait until the lanes compress, then approach from the side so the push crosses the target’s escape path without carrying you into the same blade.

Will it blend? counts 15 pushes into hacksaws over time. A shove that leaves the target alive is not the required outcome. For controlled cleanup, place a cooperative player between you and a familiar return lane, push after the nearest saw passes, and repeat the safe setup rather than chasing random bodies through the arena.

Forklift Certified: a deposited crate must stay deposited

Line the forklift up squarely and bring the forks down during the approach. Drive beneath the crate’s middle, lift only after it is balanced, and reverse toward your color. Set it fully within the boundary and drop the forks before turning away. A sharp turn with the load raised creates a sliding crate and blocks the next approach; stop and realign instead of trying to rescue it at speed.

Stealing can erase an opponent’s lead, but it also lengthens your own delivery route. When working on Mine. All mine!, protect the three crates already settled and take the nearest uncontested fourth. Ask the lobby to leave the deposit alone until the game registers four; touching or briefly carrying four boxes is not the same state.

Smoking Break: separate the inhale from the exhale

Use controlled pulls, release completely, and wait for the exhale to resolve before beginning another. Holding too long produces a cough; starting again before the previous cycle has finished can trap you in repeated lost time. When only a small section remains, one measured longer pull is safer than several frantic taps.

Full Pack is cumulative across 20 cigarettes. Prioritize completed cigarettes over narrow round wins and keep the same session active when practical. The official description confirms the total but does not explain every reconnect or custom-playlist persistence case, so verify the Steam counter before assuming an interrupted session preserved the last attempt.

Turn one rotation into a short cleanup list

Let the ordinary simulation teach the achievement setup first. Just another day at the job., This is my hole., and BOOM HEADSHOT! can emerge from normal play once their exact end states are understood; the same is true of Quick draw! and Catch this! when the required opponent remains available. Repeat the precision and survival modes only after the group can finish them: Gluttony and Stairmaster test clean inputs, Leg it! removes a tool, and Mind the gap. plus Flourished Memories demand survival into later states.

Reserve arranged setups for conditions that need another person in a precise place. Mine. All mine! protects a deposit, while About those TPS reports. needs a nearby target and Dodge this! needs an open receiving lane. Treat Full Pack and Will it blend? as repetition work instead of forcing the total in one round. State the target before the simulation begins, then abandon it when the necessary position disappears. A failed achievement setup does not require throwing away the match.

After the session, keep only three notes per failed simulation: the rule you misunderstood, the signal you noticed too late, and the first safer action for the repeat. That creates a useful custom practice list without turning all 15 minigames into homework. Because Arcade selects 10 at random, use its omissions as a reminder to schedule the missing games rather than as evidence that the roster changed.

Sources and version boundary

The official Machine Party Steam page confirms the released Windows/Linux game, 2–4-player support, developers, publisher, and official media. The official Steam achievement page supplies the 15 names and written conditions. The developer’s v1.5 announcement defines Arcade as 10 random simulations and records the current mode and fix boundary used here. Simulation routes were cross-checked against multiple launch-week player guides; uncertain counters, fixed layouts, and unverified timing values were omitted.
