Hariti Walkthrough: Hospital Keys, Basement Power, and Cindy

A mother holds the infant while a hospital creature waits in a dark Hariti corridor

Spoiler warning: Hariti’s hospital is one long dependency chain. The most common dead ends come from missing a small object, treating the camera like a weapon, or assuming a late-game key is the one already used earlier. This walkthrough follows the August 11, 2026 full release from the first rolling shutter to Cindy and the final story scene.

The route was checked against the launch build available on August 13, 2026. Ghostcase had announced the full release two days earlier; the older Next Fest demo covered only about 30 minutes, so its stopping point is not the boundary used here. No post-launch route-changing patch was identified at the time of verification.

The item chain before you start

Use this as a reset point when the hospital stops responding. Hariti does not ask you to combine most objects manually; it asks you to bring the current object to the only matching obstruction. The chain is:

  1. Rolling shutter crank
  2. Hot water room key
  3. Crowbar
  4. Security room key
  5. Drawer key, then the correct medicine
  6. Camera
  7. A second rolling shutter crank
  8. Basement power supply connecting rod
  9. Nursery key
  10. Red stool, then Children’s activity room key
  11. A second Security room key
  12. A second Crowbar
  13. The infant carried through the final route

The repeated names are intentional. The second crank, Security room key, and crowbar belong to later versions of the hospital. If the game displays Obtained for one of those names again, continue from the nearby obstacle instead of backtracking to the first place where that tool appeared.

Raise the red-corridor shutter and reach Security

Search the opening hospital offices and reception-side storage until you obtain the first Rolling shutter crank. Take it to the red-lit corridor and interact with the shutter mechanism. Raising that shutter exposes the route upward; carrying the crank around unopened wards will not produce a second use.

In the covered ward beyond, inspect the small tables and toys. The Hot water room key is placed with a teddy rather than on a formal key board. Use it on the tiled Hot Water Room. The next obstruction is physical: take the first Crowbar and pry the boards blocking the adjoining access. Search the opened side for the first Security room key, then return to Security and inspect the surveillance setup.

The useful success signal is the security-room sequence, not simply an unlocked door. If you have opened the Hot Water Room but cannot advance, check whether you actually removed the boards and entered the newly exposed space. The key is beyond that break-in step.

Open the medicine drawer before returning to the doctor

Continue through the infected ward until you can inspect the doctor’s work area and obtain the Drawer key. It opens the desk drawer with the medicine. More than one bottle can be examined, and an incorrect choice produces the explicit message Not this one. Keep checking the drawer contents until the game accepts the medicine; that rejection is a selection check, not a missing-key bug.

Carry the accepted medicine back to the trapped doctor. The reward is the camera and a clear instruction to begin following Cindy’s trail. This is the pivot between the hospital’s ordinary lock-and-key route and its photographed route, so do not leave the area expecting another metal key.

Use photographs as directions, not ammunition

Start with the bathroom event and photograph the toilet when the scene prompts you to investigate it. From this point, the camera is primarily a truth-and-location tool. Frame the conspicuous person, object, or arrangement, take the picture, then inspect what the resulting image reveals. A photographed scene may point to a place that looks ordinary in first-person view.

That distinction matters when a door appears unchanged after a flash. Hariti often puts the actionable clue in the photograph rather than on the object itself. Compare the image’s background, furniture, and arrows with the rooms you have already crossed. Repeatedly firing the camera at a creature is not a substitute for following the clue, and a death during this section is a failed attempt rather than a required story beat.

Take the cave crank, then repair basement power

The photo route eventually drops you into the cave-like passage below the hospital. Search the tunnel for another Rolling shutter crank. This is a new object despite the repeated name. Use it on the low shutter in the same underground route, pass through, and enter the altered hospital.

In this phase, take the Basement power supply connecting rod from the gurney in the corridor. When an upper door reports that it needs power, descend to the basement electrical room. Fit the connecting rod into the damaged supply assembly and interact with the panel until power returns. The verified route did not require a memorized numbered switch code: the rod and the panel interaction are the gate.

The flooded basement passage leading toward Hariti's power room

If the powered door still gives the same message, verify two separate actions: the connecting rod must leave its pickup point and be installed, and the electrical panel must then be operated. Finding the part alone does not energize the hospital. Once the powered route is live, return upstairs and keep the shortest retreat line in mind when the hostile figure enters the corridor.

Develop the clue that leads to the Nursery key

After restoring power, continue the camera trail through the upper rooms. The next key is not sitting openly in the nursery corridor. Follow the photographed wall and hidden-room clue until the developed-image sequence reveals the Nursery key. Take it back to the second-floor nursery.

Inside that section, a note says the playroom key has been left high up. Locate the raised box or shelf and test it once. The message It’s too high confirms that you have the correct target. Now search the nearby wash and play spaces for the small red plastic stool, bring it to that high point, and use the new reach to obtain the Children’s activity room key.

The slide and play structures inside Hariti's children's activity room

Open the children’s activity room, read the children’s notes, and photograph the staged mother-and-child or doll imagery. The pictures turn this room into a navigation hub: follow what they show, including low spaces and furniture edges, rather than making another circuit of every locked ward.

Follow the slide photograph to the second Security room key

The later photo trail leads out of the bright painted play area and into a more ruined children’s hospital. One photograph marks the ground beneath a slide with an arrow. Go to that slide and search underneath it to obtain another Security room key. It is not a duplicate inventory error and it does not send you back to the first hospital’s Security room.

Use the key on the Security room in this ruined phase. The children’s hospital door then reports that it has no power. Check the exposed electrical box in this area and operate it before returning to the door; the changed lighting and active route are your confirmation. This is a second power checkpoint, separate from fitting the connecting rod in the earlier basement.

Inside, keep using the camera on the puppet and child-shaped scenes that match Cindy’s outline. When the route reaches the washroom with the clustered infant figures, take the second Crowbar from the wall. Use it on the nearby boarded opening. The old crowbar has already completed its role, so searching the Hot Water Room again cannot solve this barrier.

Carry the infant through the final hospital

Beyond the pried opening, follow the red-stained corridor and the Woman in Red sequence until you reach the body and can take the infant. The object changes the last stretch: the official release description calls it the mother’s only weapon, while the played route shows it being carried in front of her as its aura reacts to nearby threats.

Keep the infant in hand through the flooded basement corridor and the fleshy tunnel. Face the approaching threat and continue toward the lit exit whenever the aura intensifies; do not stop in the open to search rooms that have already been exhausted. The infant is protection for this route, but it is not evidence that every earlier monster encounter can be fought the same way.

After the underground passage, climb back into the painted child corridor and follow the growth-covered route to its end. The illustrated Hariti story pages are the final narrative bridge. Advance through them, then watch the Cindy scene and the developer message. Reaching that sequence, rather than merely picking up the infant, confirms that the full-release route has finished.

Fast diagnosis when the route stops

What you see What it means Next action
Not this one at the drawer The drawer is correct; the selected medicine is not Inspect the remaining bottles before returning to the doctor
A camera flash changes nothing The photograph itself may hold the route clue Open the image and match its background, arrow, or furniture
This door needs power The connecting rod or panel step is incomplete Finish the current phase’s electrical-room interaction
It’s too high You found the playroom key location Bring the red stool to the raised shelf or box
A familiar key or crowbar appears again The altered hospital has a second item chain Use it on the nearest matching Security room or boards
You die during a chase The death is not a required checkpoint Retry with the clue destination and retreat line already chosen

Version boundary: this route covers the Windows full release available on August 13, 2026. Achievement names were useful as story cross-checks, but the available public evidence did not justify claiming a separate all-achievements route, multiple endings, a fixed puzzle code, or a permanently safe monster strategy.
