A.A.U. Black Site currently has two connected story chapters, and the campaign does not stop at the first industrial firefight. The route continues from Headquarters and God’s Chosen (a Demon) into Guilt Trip, then ends only after the hospital generator sequence. The places most likely to stall a first run are not conventional bosses: they are a powered bunker, the magnet vehicle, a nightclub panel, an apartment gate key, and three small alcohol bottles hidden during a monster patrol.
This walkthrough was checked on August 13, 2026 against the official Steam listing and announcements, plus a 1:46:05.5 no-commentary run whose title, channel, duration, and chapter screens were independently matched. It covers the two chapters available in that Early Access build. It does not invent a Chapter 3 route, a collectible list, or fixed enemy counts. A July developer post described an enemy-AI overhaul as coming soon, so the exact pressure in firefights may change before the route itself does.
Fast orientation: if you are still following green path lights and Sepher, you are in Chapter 1. The red tunnel and nightclub begin Chapter 2. The hospital bottle search is the last playable problem in the reviewed build; the Chapter 3 card after it is the real Early Access stopping point.
Use objective changes as your route confirmation
A.A.U. often confirms progress by changing the environment or replacing the current objective rather than placing a large waypoint on the next door. Before backtracking, look for one of these signals:
| Section | What unlocks progress | Confirmation to look for |
|---|---|---|
| Headquarters | Complete the required range interaction and follow the deployment path | The elevator and story transition become the only forward route |
| Forest bunker | Use the green-lit power controls | The secured descent opens instead of sending you deeper into the woods |
| Magnet vehicle | Attach the visible load before trying to drive it through the route | The carried object moves with the vehicle |
| Nightclub | Clear the active rooms and operate the panel | The EXIT route can be followed out of the club |
| Apartment loop | Find the key inside the apartments | The previously locked gate accepts the interaction |
| Hospital | Collect all three alcohol bottles | The objective changes to returning to the generator |
If the expected confirmation does not happen, assume you missed an interaction in the current space. Reloading a checkpoint before checking the last panel, crate, key, or bottle can repeat a long combat section without fixing the actual problem.
Clear Headquarters without skipping its required handoff
The opening corridors are a tutorial, but the shooting range is part of the playable handoff rather than optional decoration. Follow the interior route to the range, interact with a station, take a firearm and ammunition, and finish the prompted range sequence. The official launch material and the reviewed run both place this prologue before the Chapter 1 deployment.
Once the range state is complete, leave by the marked interior path and take the elevator. There is no reason to empty your reserves into the range after the objective has advanced. Treat the elevator and the following briefing as the checkpoint: if you are wandering through identical office corridors, return to the range entrance and look for the route that became available after the exercise.
The current build can expose settings and mechanics that were added after launch, including reload cancellation. Do not build the run around a remembered permanent key layout. Read the binding shown by your client, especially if a later update adds custom bindings or controller support.
Chapter 1: read Sepher’s lights before entering the bunker

God’s Chosen (a Demon) begins in the forest. Sepher and the placed lights are your navigation language here. Move from one lit reference to the next instead of cutting straight through the darkest ground. Use the flashlight when you need to read a corner, then re-center on the next artificial light. The chapter is linear, but the trees make a wrong angle look like an alternate path.
The first important destination is the secured bunker. Do not search the perimeter for a hidden forest trail once you reach its closed access. Inspect the green-lit control points around the structure, restore the required power state, and return to the entrance. The successful interaction turns the bunker from a dead end into the route downward.
Inside, clear rooms before operating the next obvious panel or door. Enemies can hold the side of a doorway that is hidden from the control itself. A safe pattern is to expose one slice of the room, remove the nearest threat, then cross to the interactable. Green-lit weapon and ammunition containers are the reliable resupply language through this chapter; use them before a transition rather than assuming the next arena opens with supplies.
Cross the train yard with a kick ready, not merely charged
The bunker feeds into an industrial yard broken up by train cars, narrow lanes, stairs, and elevated positions. Keep the railcars between you and distant shooters while you clear one lane at a time. Advancing into the center before checking both ends creates overlapping fire; retreating behind the last car breaks those sight lines without losing route progress.
The combat-kick tutorial is a resource rule. Kills fill the meter around the crosshair. The on-screen tutorial in the reviewed build requires at least two bars and spends two bars for one kick. That makes the kick most useful when an enemy has already closed the distance or blocks a doorway. Spending it on a harmless isolated target can leave you without the escape tool when the next group pushes through the same lane.
- Fight from the outside of the yard toward the railcar lanes.
- Check the meter after each small group; do not mistake a partly filled ring for an available kick.
- Use crates before climbing or crossing into the next exposed section.
- When the route seems to end at industrial clutter, look upward for the stair or catwalk that changes your angle.
There is no supported reason to promise a fixed number of enemies here. Early Access updates can change encounters, and the developer has already previewed a future AI revision. The route test is more durable: when fire stops, supplies are checked, and the next raised path is reachable, move on.
Make the magnet vehicle prove the attachment before driving
After more forest lights and a warehouse or garage fight, the chapter introduces a vehicle with a magnet interaction. This is a state check, not a speed test. Position the vehicle under or beside the intended load, use the two-input control overlay shown in your build, and watch the object itself. Do not drive away until it visibly follows the magnet.
If the vehicle moves but the load stays behind, stop and realign rather than forcing the gate. Small steering corrections are safer than a wide turn inside the garage. Once attached, take the marked vehicle route through the obstruction and checkpoints. Keep the load stable through turns; the important result is reaching the next combat space with the required object state, not making a fast run.
For a failure at this set piece, separate three possibilities:
- No attachment: return to the load and adjust the magnet position until movement is visually linked.
- Attached but blocked: straighten the vehicle and retry the gate or narrow exit without dragging the load sideways.
- No response after a valid setup: reload the nearest checkpoint, then repeat only the attach-and-exit sequence. Early Access bugs should not be disguised as an undiscovered puzzle solution.
Finish God’s Chosen through the garage and courtyard
Leaving the magnet section does not end Chapter 1. Expect another chain of industrial interiors and open combat spaces. In each new area, clear the near corners before stepping into the central courtyard. The chapter repeatedly places supplies in green-lit containers, so scan the edges after a fight and before following the next hard-lit route.
Use door frames and vehicle bodies to divide groups. When an elevated shooter and a ground enemy are active together, remove the ground threat from cover first unless the elevated target has a clean shot into your position. The goal is to prevent the nearer enemy from flushing you into the longer sight line.
Continue through the final garage and courtyard path until the chapter transition appears. The decisive signal is the Guilt Trip chapter screen, roughly forty-five minutes into the verified no-commentary run. A black screen followed by that title is a story handoff, not a cue to restart Chapter 1.
Chapter 2: use the hammer and valve to escape the red tunnel
Guilt Trip opens in a red drainage or service tunnel. Search the reachable side space for the hammer, bring it back to the obstruction, and clear the route. After the next fight, interact with the large red wheel or valve. Both objects are required progression tools; walking farther into the organic tunnel before using them only loops you around a closed state.
Push through the fleshy passage until it releases you into the nightclub. The environment changes sharply, but the interaction rule remains the same: a conspicuous tool or control near a blocked route is more important than searching every dark corner for another corridor.
Restore the nightclub route before trusting the EXIT

The nightclub is a combat search across connected rooms and levels. Clear the first floor before climbing, then check balconies and doorways from cover. Bright neon can make a dark opening look empty, so pause at each threshold and let movement separate from the background.
Your route depends on a power or breaker panel inside the club. If the obvious exit path is not usable, do not keep circling the same dance floor. Finish the active room, locate the panel, interact, and then follow the newly valid path toward the EXIT marking. Supplies in green-lit crates can be taken before leaving; once outside, the route changes to rain-soaked yards and rooftops.
Across the exterior, work from hard cover to hard cover and use stairs or climbable transitions when a lane appears sealed at ground level. The chapter eventually forces a fall or transition into the apartment-horror section. That shift is intentional. You have not missed a club collectible or a second exit.
Resolve the apartment loop by bringing the gate key back
The apartment sequence states its problem directly: the gate needs a key, and the nearby apartments are the search area. Treat the locked gate as your anchor. Enter the accessible rooms, inspect the lit and paranormal set pieces, and keep advancing through the interior loop until you can collect the key. Mannequins, altered rooms, and the purple apparition are route atmosphere; shooting every suspicious prop is not the unlock condition.
Once the key is in hand, return to the original gate. If the interaction still fails, make sure you came back to the same barred checkpoint rather than a similar internal door. The key is not a general-purpose apartment key, and further room searching after acquisition adds risk without advancing the objective.
Beyond the gate, combat resumes through the house, upper floors, elevator or catwalk connections, and the outdoor complex. Keep using cleared rooms as retreat space. Eventually a red hatchback becomes the forward route. Enter it and drive to the docks; continuing on foot around the last combat yard will not substitute for the vehicle transition.
At the docks, spend the mounted gun on immediate lanes
Board the jet ski at the docks and take the mounted weapon when the chase begins. This is a moving survival section, so target priority matters more than clearing every distant silhouette. Remove boats or shooters already aligned with your travel lane, then sweep to threats that are about to enter from the side. Targets falling behind the camera are usually a worse use of ammunition than the next group ahead.
Fire in controlled bursts and reload during visible gaps. Holding the trigger through an empty stretch leaves the weapon unavailable when the route exposes the next boat. The vehicle supplies the forward motion; keep your attention on aim, threat order, and the next clear reload window. Surviving the sequence leads to a story transition and the hospital, not to another dock puzzle.
Find three alcohol bottles without advertising every step

The hospital objective is exact: find three alcohol bottles, then return to the generator. The bottles are small enough that a room can look empty during a fast sweep. Search the treatment, reception, and ward spaces methodically. Check beds, desks, trolleys, and the floor beside usable furniture before crossing a doorway into the next patrol lane.
The sparkler creates a deliberate tradeoff. Its bright light lets you identify bottle-sized objects, but the on-screen tutorial warns that the monster can see that light. Holding the displayed input hides the sparkler and reduces visibility; in complete darkness, however, sprinting is unavailable. Do not wait until the monster is beside you to extinguish it.
- Enter a room with enough light to read its layout.
- Check the likely object surfaces in one direction rather than sweeping randomly.
- Hide the sparkler before crossing an exposed corridor or when the monster is close.
- Use darkness to break visibility, then restore light only after reaching a safer search angle.
- Watch the objective text after every pickup. Do not rely on memory of how many bottles you think you collected.
The reliable completion signal is the objective changing to Go back to the generator. If that text has not appeared, one bottle remains in the searchable hospital route. The verified footage proves the count and the objective transition, but not a patch-proof set of three room coordinates; presenting fixed coordinates would be less reliable than the room-by-room search and UI confirmation.
Power the generator, then stop at the actual Early Access ending
Return to the generator once the objective changes. Use the collected bottles at the machine and complete the interaction. A powered, brighter route becomes available. Follow it through the final marked passage and the purple EXIT rather than restarting the hospital search.
The next card thanks the player and points to Chapter 3 as the next story installment. It also mentions future level expansion and refinement, custom key bindings, and controller support. That card is the end of the playable campaign covered here. There is no supported Chapter 3 path hidden behind the hospital, and a guide claiming to continue beyond this point would be describing unreleased or unverified material.
If a future update changes a door, enemy arrangement, or binding, preserve the route logic: complete the local interaction, wait for the objective or environment to confirm it, and follow the newly opened path. For the current two-chapter build, reaching that Chapter 3 card is a successful clear.
