My Tasty Husband is easiest to finish as a save-slot problem, not as twelve separate playthroughs. Four endings break away from the common story, three belong to August, two belong to Victor, and three sit inside Thelma’s branch. The same route also carries every non-ending achievement, so the important work is placing saves before Choices 4, 5, 8, 15, 21, 40, and the first character-specific decision.
Language and numbering boundary: Steam currently lists Simplified Chinese as the only supported language. The client does not print “Choice 1” through “Choice 41”; those numbers are route checkpoints used by this guide. The English labels below are functional translations, not official interface text. Match the stated option position first, then use the translated meaning as a check. Ending and achievement names are translated working labels for the same reason.
Version boundary: this route was checked on August 13, 2026 against the full release and official announcements through the July 25 Patch 1.0.1. That update repaired an achievement-unlock problem and incorrect save-page numbers. The readable route reference was updated on July 26, after that patch. Demo saves do not carry into the full game.
Build a seven-save route map before chasing names
Use manual saves as branch anchors. A label such as S4 — Choice 15 is more useful than a story-scene description when several later scenes look similar. Keep the anchors until both Steam and the in-game Collection page confirm the cleanup.

Make one additional rolling save before Choice 41 if you have room. The fourth message option produces an immediate ending; the other three enter character routes only when their earlier affinity requirements were met. If a character name is missing, reloading Choice 41 will not repair it. Return to S4 or an earlier common-route save and rebuild that character’s choices.
Use Choices 1–14 to establish the backbone
The position in parentheses is the reliable matching cue. The “result” column explains why a selection matters, so a missing branch has a diagnosable cause rather than becoming a blind restart.

Take the early endings, then restore the continuing choice
- At Choice 4, create S1. Pick the second option, run backward, to reach Backpacker. Reload S1 and throw the bag with the first option.
- At Choice 5, create S2. Pick left, the first option, for Unfortunate Child.
- Reload S2 and pick look forward, the third option, for Brainwaves. This branch also unlocks Music Fanatic.
- Reload S2 again and pick right, the second option, to preserve the common route.
Do not overwrite S2 until Steam has registered Music Fanatic. Patch 1.0.1 specifically addressed missed achievements, so an unpatched client can make a correct route look wrong.
Use S3 for the bathroom trio
The bathroom achievement is a sequence, not a single gag choice. Choice 1 must already be Bathroom, the second option. At Choice 8, save to S3, choose the bedroom bathroom with the second option, then continue until Choice 22 and choose Bathroom with the second option. That completes King of Toilets.
After the unlock appears, reload S3. This time choose Under the bed, the third option, at Choice 8. When Choice 22 returns, choose Kitchen, the first option. You now have the achievement without replacing two August-oriented backbone choices.
Choices 15–28 carry the route locks and two cleanup checks
Choice 15 is the first deliberate fork. Save before answering it. Mow the lawn for Thelma; focus on work for Victor. The captured route does not assign this decision to August, so either answer can remain on an August run. S4 lets you restore the correct answer when you change target.

If Memory Master does not appear after Choice 25, check the whole three-answer chain. The three options are deliberately close enough to punish recognition without exact recall; repeating only Choice 25 cannot repair an earlier pizza or street answer.
Choices 29–41 decide who answers the message
Continue stacking the target affinities, then use Choice 40 as the visible destination lock. Choice 41 is a readback: if the desired recipient is selectable, the earlier work succeeded.

Take Dead by Gun by choosing nobody, the fourth option, at Choice 41. Then reload the Choice 41 save and select the character required for the next route. If a named option is unavailable, do not keep toggling Choice 40. Restore S4 and follow that character’s marked selections again.
August uses one common-story switch and one personal five-choice pattern
For August, build the common route with the August selections above. Use No at Choice 38, Martinez Street at Choice 40, and the monster at Choice 41. The first two August endings are opposites across all five personal choices, which makes one S7 save enough for the pair.

Eternal Love unlocks the achievement translated here as Man Is Iron, Monster Is Steel. Promised Land unlocks Together into the Urn and adds May’s “Tadpole’s Funeral” extra to the Collection.
For Rainy Night Visitor, return to S5 at Choice 21 and choose Bite him once, the first option, instead of the kiss. Rebuild the same August entrance at Choices 38, 40, and 41, then use the Promised Land pattern: spare her, share the quiet, visit the cemetery, pay five dollars, and answer so-so. This ending unlocks Honey, Open the Door and the monster’s “Love and Hunger” extra.
The failure signal is precise: if Rainy Night Visitor falls back to Promised Land, the missing switch is Choice 21, not one of the five personal choices. Reload S5 rather than replaying the personal route.
Victor changes the entrance, then flips a two-choice pair
Load S4. At Choice 15 choose Focus on work, the second option. Keep Victor’s later affinity picks, choose Yes at Choice 38, take the trailer park at Choice 40, and message Victor at Choice 41. Save before his first personal decision.
- Sunset Boulevard: choose masochism, the second option, then tease Victor, also the second option. This unlocks Do Not Drive While Fatigued and Victor’s “Falling in Love” extra.
- Four Lies: reload the personal save, act cool with the first option, then let Victor off with the first option. This unlocks A Dog’s Mouth Cannot Produce Ivory.
If Victor is absent at Choice 41, confirm both route-shaping decisions before touching the personal pair: Choice 15 must be focus on work and Choice 40 must be trailer park. The two personal answers cannot create the route; they only split it after entry.
Thelma hides three endings behind her first personal decision
Return to S4 and choose Mow the lawn, the first option, at Choice 15. Keep the Thelma affinity choices at 16, 33, and 34. At Choice 40 choose the coffee shop, then message Thelma at Choice 41. Save before the first Thelma-specific decision.
- Choose Stay and persuade it, the second option, at personal Choice 1 for Endless Hatred. This branch ends immediately, so reload the personal save afterward.
- Choose Escape through the door with Thelma, the first option. Tell the truth at personal Choice 2, lie at Choice 3, and save again before Choice 4.
- At Choice 4, choose Truth, the first option, for White Knight. This also unlocks Thelma’s “Selfish Saint” extra.
- Reload the Choice 4 save and choose Lie, the second option, for Free Bird. This ending unlocks Perhaps She Is an Angel.
The order above avoids replaying Thelma’s shared personal sequence. Endless Hatred branches at the first personal choice; White Knight and Free Bird share the first three answers and separate only at the fourth.
Finish in Collection, not at the last credits screen
The official full-release description promises twelve endings, while Steam exposes eleven achievements. Use those totals as two independent audits.

Open Collection after the route finishes. The small number control at the lower right switches between CG and extra-story pages; an unlocked extra can therefore exist without appearing on the first page. Surprise Delivery should register after all twelve ending records are present. Global Overlord is the final all-achievements unlock.
If one meta achievement remains locked, compare counts before replaying scenes. A missing ending record points to one of the twelve named outcomes. Ten of eleven Steam achievements usually means a route-specific or common-route task is still absent; all ten ordinary achievements with no Global Overlord points to registration rather than another story condition. Update to Patch 1.0.1 or later, load the save immediately before the missing result, complete it again, and re-open Collection before considering a new game.
