TV Archive: Tidy Up Together Shelf Order: All 318 Rows

A wide view of the unsorted TV Archive with numbered shelves and videotapes across the floor

A videotape can be inside the right numbered shelf and still fail. The archive checks the title, its numbered copy, and the title’s position among neighboring rows; a nearly complete strip with one swapped box will not award the row. Use this page as a repair ledger: identify the category, search the title, compare the adjacent entries, and only then rebuild the ten-copy row.

This shelf order is for the launch version of TV Archive: Tidy Up Together, Steam App 4934370, checked on August 15, 2026. The finished archive contains 3,180 tapes: 318 title rows, ten numbered copies per title, divided among twenty category shelves. The title tables below preserve the reviewed in-game order; the added row numbers are lookup labels for this guide, not numbers printed on the furniture.

Separate a category mistake from an order mistake

Start with the large number above the furniture. Shelf 1 is Action Movies, Shelf 4 is Cartoons, Shelf 13 is News, and so on. A title on the wrong category shelf cannot be repaired by changing its position inside that shelf. Move it to the correct numbered area first.

Once the category is right, treat one title as a closed set of ten. Copies numbered 1 through 10 belong together in a single row. Do not use a vacant slot to park an unrelated tape: a row only becomes a completed row when the title and all ten copy numbers are accepted in order. The top-left counters distinguish completed rows from placed tapes, so a rising tape total with a frozen row total means you are building partial or incorrect sets.

The TV Archive floor plan showing all twenty numbered category shelves

Turn the archive into twenty small queues

The room looks like one pile, but the work is faster when every trip answers one category. Open the Archive Floor Plan, choose a shelf number, and scan only for titles belonging there. When skills are enabled, use the shelf highlighter to confirm the category of the top tape and the matching-tape highlighter to expose copies from the same set. In a no-skill run, spread a dense pile face-up with the current drop binding and read covers before carrying anything away.

Complete rows rather than decorating many shelves with one or two boxes. A closed ten-copy set removes clutter, increments the row counter, and awards a skill point in skill-enabled modes. If one copy is missing, leave the nine together only when their order is already certain; otherwise keep the incomplete set in a small staging patch beside its category so it cannot be mistaken for a finished row.

How to use the row tables

  1. Search this page for the exact title printed on the selected tape.
  2. Confirm the shelf number and category in the heading above the match.
  3. Use the previous and next titles as physical anchors. This is safer than assuming an empty bay begins at a particular camera-facing corner.
  4. Place copies 1 through 10 together. If the game reports Wrong shelf row or Not in the correct order, remove the disputed tape and compare both its title neighbors and its copy number.
  5. Wait for the completed-row feedback and verify that the row counter increases before treating the strip as solved.

The shelf size tells you how large the search is. TV Series and Cartoons have 30 rows each; News and Game Shows have 24; Athletic Games and Football Cups have only 6. A long shelf is not evidence that a title belongs there. The printed category and the title table decide that.

Repair a shelf that looks finished

The tape highlights the correct shelf but the row rejects it.
The category is right and the row is wrong. Search the title here, then compare the neighboring title strips instead of repeatedly testing vacant spaces.
All ten covers match but the row does not complete.
Read the small copy numbers. A duplicate number or a 1-10 sequence with one inversion can make a visually uniform row fail.
The row counter is behind the tape counter.
Some shelves contain incomplete sets. Walk the categories you have touched and look for rows with gaps, mixed cover art, or a tape sitting outside the ten-copy strip.
A highlighted bay already contains another title.
Do not force the selected tape into the lit furniture. The shelf highlighter identifies the category shelf, while the ordered title list and adjacent completed rows identify the exact row.
The final door stays closed.
Check both counters. On the reviewed clear, the row display showed 318/318 and the separate tape display showed 3,180/3,180 before the door objective appeared. A single missing box leaves one row unresolved even if the room looks clean.

Close the archive from the smallest leftovers

Late cleanup is a search problem, not a speed problem. Stop carrying mixed stacks across the room. Read the remaining hand list, resolve one title at a time, and revisit any staging patches. The small six-row and nine-row shelves are quick to eliminate as suspects; the 30-row TV Series and Cartoons shelves deserve a deliberate bay-by-bay scan.

When the counters reach 318 and 3,180, follow the new door objective rather than continuing to rearrange accepted rows. For a timed or achievement-focused clear, the separate achievement route explains where skills help and why the no-skill condition should be planned before the first activation.

The official Steam metadata lists Games Together as developer, Games Together and Gamersky Games as publishers, and August 14, 2026 as the release date. The store describes Single-player, Online Co-op, Online PvP, Sandbox Mode, and No-Skill Mode. If a later update renames a fictional tape or changes a shelf, trust the title, category sign, counters, and rejection message in the current client over this launch-day table.
