The final five chapters repeatedly remove the option to prepare later. Chapter 10 locks Enzo into a multi-stage pursuit, Chapter 11 gives him fixed weapons during an ambush, Chapter 12 leaves Valle Dorata for a mission-only opera house, and Chapter 14 splits control between two characters with different failure rules. Stock up for the next job before each transition.
La Festa: move only during the sniper’s reload
In San Celeste, take Marathon Scandal from the green-topped market stall after passing the painted Roman soldiers. When Isabella stops at the stalls, inspect the wine table for the Don’s note, then use the flower vendor beneath the beige cover at the back of the plaza. The gift is fixed; searching every vendor does not produce another branch.
When the sniper fires, cover timing is the puzzle. Wait for the shot and reload, advance to the statues, push the marked statue for Cesare, and use the moving cart as protection across the open plaza. After Cesare is hit, stay inside the narrow market path until the final dash to the church tower. One hit is survivable; exposing Enzo for two shots usually resets the checkpoint.
Il Merlo’s sequence has three duels separated by rooftop and horseback pursuits. His ordinary combinations can end in a red unblockable strike, so a successful early parry is not a cue to mash through the rest of the animation. Break his guard only when he visibly blocks. During the horse chase, keep the long-range pistol the game provides. Replacing it with a close-range shotgun makes the moving targets unnecessarily difficult; use short spur bursts to stay near the cars and apply bandages while mounted if needed.
Mattanza: turn fixed equipment into controlled lanes
Before the meeting, collect the Economico Charm from the crate by the tonnara entrance. The first ambush leaves Enzo with a revolver against elevated attackers. Use Instinct, fire only when the reticle has settled, and move to the rear stairs during their reload if the angle from below remains poor. Once the floor is clear, take the Mystery Fox beneath the upper window before regrouping with Don Torrisi.
Outside, prioritize the distant sniper and shotgun rushers. A scope glint is both a threat and a timing signal: duck for the shot, then return fire during the long reload. At the sniper nest, the available Praecisione can stop most exposed enemies with a carefully placed round. The nearby blue rooms contain Crowds at Car Race and the Valore Charm; collect both before the final push to the truck.
The escape provides unlimited rifle ammunition, but the truck still has finite health. Cars continue arriving until Porto Almaro, so destroy individual threats rather than spreading damage across the convoy. Shooting a driver ends a pursuit immediately; shooting the engine through the front grille can destroy the car. Eliminating ten during the escape awards Trail of Destruction, but protecting the truck remains the primary condition.
La Forza del Destino is a sealed collection route
Chapter 12 takes place outside the regular Valle Dorata exploration map. More than any other late-game chapter, it rewards a deliberate collection pass because a miss requires Chapter Replay. Before descending with the priest, take the Santa Rosalia card from the shrine. In the waterway used to open the gate from the far side, collect the Resistenza Charm beside the skeleton.
After clearing the four Guardie in the sewers, push the cart and inspect the shelves to the right for Paziente. The backstage route contains three Mystery Foxes:
- one in the dressing-room corner;
- one in the open crate reached after slipping past the first conversational pairs;
- one in the bright side room below the seating area, shortly before the royal box.
At the catwalk, turn right—away from the objective—before crossing into the seating area to collect Camel Riders. This detour is small, but returning after the assassination is impossible because the opera house changes to an active escape.
Once Baron Fontanella is down, take the shotgun from the dining table and change priorities from concealment to forward movement. The burning theater offers a rifle at the stage, while the sewers favor a close weapon against rushers. Don Spadaro’s dangerous move is a slow red-marked stab from his lower right. Dodge it; parry his ordinary slashes; use a heavy strike only when he raises a guard.
Capiregime: plan the two timed kills before the gunfight
At Mazzone’s forest camp, a Scannaturi knife can remove the isolated guard across the gap without pulling the pair on the bridge. The route is built around conversations: remain covered until pairs separate, then bypass guards whose patrol does not block Mazzone. He checks behind himself, so approach only after his head completes a scan. Killing him without an alarm grants Silent Hunter. Collect the Destrezza Charm and letter in his room before leaving.
Caccini is the speed test. Bring a quick-firing, longer-range pistol and begin damaging the car as soon as the pursuit starts. Destroying him before the salt flats awards Not So Fast. If the attempt is already lost, use the checkpoint rather than driving the entire route; the restart positions Enzo for an earlier firing window. Costa’s church approach is not timed, so switch back to survival: counter-snipe scope glints, borrow a rifle when necessary, and take the newspaper on the left-side table midway up the hill.
La Merica has three different detection rules
Before leaving the meeting-point town with Isabella, photograph Chiesa di Maria from the northern road. The blocked roads then force the correct route to the station. Cesare’s duel is fundamentals-only: parry his fast ordinary pressure and dodge the slow red strike rather than attempting to trade.
When Enzo fights toward Isabella, the shotgun handles aggressive flankers and the later rifle handles the rooftop sniper. Use the sulfur-brick lane to make enemies approach from one direction, and check the rear corner after the last wave for Courtroom Drama. In the mine, throw a lantern at the two men standing in the gas rather than searching for ammunition. The following approach to Don Torrisi is another reload puzzle: one hit wounds Enzo, a second resets him, so cross one cover gap at a time.
Don Torrisi relies on slow heavy attacks that cannot be parried and mixes in ordinary slashes that can. Do not choose one defensive input for the entire fight. Dodge the red heavy windup; parry the normal blade; break his guard when he blocks. A hitless win awards Worthy Opponent, so a trophy attempt should be restarted immediately after damage rather than played to the final cutscene.
Isabella cannot fight the villa guards. Any detection during her office, balcony, and cellar route is a failure, so wait for conversations and patrols to finish instead of trying to copy Enzo’s aggressive stealth. Tino is a separate three-hit stealth boss. Walk rather than sprint, save bottles until Isabella is near enough to exploit his turn, throw behind him, strike once, and reset the angle. Being grabbed restarts the entire encounter; patience is faster than losing two completed approaches.
Finish story-specific work before opening the cleanup map
A reliable finale audit contains the following:
- La Festa: Marathon Scandal and a long-range sidearm preserved for the mounted chase;
- Mattanza: Economico, the upstairs fox, Crowds at Car Race, Valore, and—if pursued—ten destroyed cars;
- La Forza del Destino: Santa Rosalia, Resistenza, Paziente, three foxes, and Camel Riders before the theater burns;
- Capiregime: Silent Hunter, Destrezza, an early Caccini kill, and the church-route newspaper;
- La Merica: Chiesa di Maria, Courtroom Drama, and the optional hitless Don Torrisi result.
Chapter Replay remains available for a missed mission state, while the collectibles roadmap shows which base-game categories belong in a Free Ride sweep. After the story, the Free Ride challenge guide separates the free November 2025 challenge set from the later paid Man of Honor additions.
Current-content note
The base finale was checked against readable Chapter 10–14 references and the current Steam record. Steam now also lists Man of Honor as a released expansion dated August 14, 2026, with two additional chapters. Those chapters are not numbered into this base-game route and are outside this article. No DLC mission sequence was inferred from launch-era base walkthroughs.
