Brigador Killers First Missions Walkthrough: Sieghart Bulver to Team Anchor Escape

A Brigador Killers operative approaching a guarded estate in an armed car

The opening jobs in Brigador Killers are short, but each teaches a different rule: follow the live objective, use a vehicle as a tool rather than a trophy, move equipment through the inventory screen, and leave as soon as the exit becomes the real mission. If one of the first six assignments appears stuck, stop shooting and identify the missing state change.

This walkthrough covers the Early Access campaign available on August 21, 2026. It does not treat the earlier demo recordings as a map for the retail build. Stellar Jockeys warned that returning missions could have revised spawns, objectives, exits, and layouts, and that demo progress would not transfer. The mission names and action chains below come from the supplied launch-day walkthrough; the current objective panel and markers in your client win whenever a later update moves something.

Before Mission 1, separate the Early Access campaign from the demo

Choose New Game only if you intend to begin or reset the campaign. The current official manual says the campaign uses one save, not the separate campaign structure seen in the demo. Resetting from the main menu clears that campaign progress. There is no supported demo-save import to preserve.

Five controls solve most opening blockers. Use Escape to review the objective, E for nearby conversations and consoles, Tab for containers and inventory, Ctrl to crouch on the default layout, and the mouse buttons for aiming or vehicle weapons as the HUD indicates. Binds can be changed, so read the visible prompt if your setup differs.

Visible problem Check first Useful readback
No route is obvious Open the objective panel and look for its marker before exploring side streets The target, delivery point, or exit is named and marked
A crate will not open with E Stand close and press Tab The nearby container appears on the right side of inventory
A gun is carried but will not fire Move it into a GUN slot, not only INV The weapon and ammunition appear on the combat HUD
A target is dead but the job continues Recheck the objective; extraction may now be the active step An exit marker replaces the kill instruction
A vehicle seems empty Exit and inspect its own storage rather than your personal inventory The vehicle tab shows its separate weapons, ammunition, items, or mounts

Mission 1: Kill Sieghart Bulver

The first job is a navigation lesson disguised as an assassination. Select Kill Sieghart Bulver, enter the deployment, and follow the opening path until the route is obstructed. Use the movement or stomp prompt the game presents to break through the taught obstacle. Do not search the whole starting area for a hidden switch; this moment exists to establish that the character can force a path through certain objects.

  1. Open the mission selector and confirm the Bulver job rather than a neighboring assignment.
  2. Advance through the guided opening and use the prompted stomp or impact action when the route closes.
  3. Continue toward the right side of the mission space, checking the objective marker whenever the street branches.
  4. Identify Bulver from the mission state, kill the marked target, and wait for the objective to change.
  5. Follow the newly active extraction route to the right instead of clearing every remaining enemy.

If the exit does not activate, confirm the correct marked character is down. A prone enemy is not always a confirmed kill in this game, and heavy impacts can temporarily knock units over. Spend one moment on the target readback before backtracking across the level.

Mission 2: Kill Nelinha Ka

Kill Nelinha Ka turns the vehicle into a delivery mechanism. The explosive van is not a tank you should preserve for a long firefight. Drive it through the required delivery locations in the order shown by the live objective. Each accepted stop is progress; wandering between unmarked alleys only gives threats more time to gather.

  1. Enter the explosive van and orient it before accelerating. Wheeled vehicles steer with their own movement behavior, so use the first open stretch to learn the turning arc.
  2. Drive to each marked delivery position. Let the objective acknowledge the stop before leaving it.
  3. At the last location, use the remote detonator or mission interaction the HUD provides.
  4. Leave through the nearby door before the blast sequence completes.
  5. Once on foot, run for the marked extraction. The van has finished its job and is not worth recovering.

The common failure is treating the final prompt as permission to remain beside the van and watch. Triggering the device starts an escape sequence. If a delivery does not count, approach the marker again at lower speed and let the vehicle settle inside the required area before moving on.

Mission 3: Kill L. Wrightson

The Wrightson assignment teaches that the tool for a job may begin in a container rather than in your hands. Press Escape after deployment and read the objective before committing to combat. From the start, move ahead and then left toward the supplied crate.

  1. Stand close to the crate and press Tab. Containers are handled through inventory, not a normal dialogue interaction.
  2. Transfer the sniper weapon and its compatible ammunition from the container side to your side.
  3. Place the rifle in a usable GUN slot. Keeping it only in INV means it is stored, not equipped.
  4. Make the call or use the mission interaction that exposes the target sequence.
  5. Crouch with the current bind—Ctrl by default—then ready the rifle. Stillness and crouching tighten aim and extend the practical view for a sniper setup.
  6. Kill L. Wrightson, confirm the objective update, and follow the exit marker.

If the shot appears blocked, read the aim feedback rather than firing repeatedly. A red endpoint means the line is obstructed; a wider crosshair or cone means the shot is less stable. Reposition by a small amount, stop moving, crouch, and let the aiming display contract before firing again.

Dialogue and objective changes are route checkpoints. Let them finish before deciding that a door or extraction has failed.

Mission 4: Kill Lovel Archer

Kill Lovel Archer introduces a fixed gun position and the value of choosing targets. Kill the first infantry threat so it cannot pressure you during the interaction. Then take control of the nearby turret when the prompt appears.

Use the turret primarily against vehicles and other threats that justify its firepower. Infantry can often be handled without exposing the fixed position to every angle. Watch the mission objective rather than trying to empty the map. Once Archer is confirmed dead and extraction activates, leave the turret and retreat toward the marked exit.

A mounted gun can make the player feel safer than they are. The position is powerful but predictable, and threats can approach while you stay focused on one lane. If incoming fire begins to arrive from behind or the side, disengage rather than waiting for the turret to solve a bad angle. The mission is complete when the target and extraction states are satisfied, not when every vehicle is wrecked.

Mission 5: Assault Barclaw Estate

The estate mission moves from on-foot interaction into a machine with two weapon controls. Speak to the nearby teammate first. Skipping that conversation can leave you fighting in the wrong state while the intended vehicle or objective handoff remains inactive.

  1. Approach the teammate, face them, and complete the opening exchange.
  2. Enter the indicated machine only after the prompt is available.
  3. Use the HUD to distinguish the two mounted weapons. In the supplied route, the left mouse button handles the heavy weapon and the right mouse button the lighter one.
  4. Spend heavy fire on vehicles or hardened targets; use the lighter weapon where the larger shot would be wasteful.
  5. Follow the objective sequence through the estate and leave through the marked exit when the assault state clears.

Those mouse-button roles are specific to a two-weapon vehicle state. On foot, the normal pattern is right mouse to ready and left mouse to fire. Do not carry the estate vehicle mapping back to infantry combat. The upper-left HUD is the authoritative readout for which weapon is attached to each control.

Mission 6: Team Anchor Escape

Team Anchor Escape tests whether you understand that characters and cargo can be moved between separate inventories. Begin in the team car and follow the live route. The mission includes a stop, dialogue, an explosion, and a perspective change; let that sequence resolve before trying to drive away.

  1. Drive the team vehicle to the instructed stop and allow the conversation and blast sequence to finish.
  2. After control changes, inspect the nearby loot container if the route exposes one. Use Tab and take only what you can safely carry.
  3. Check Jove’s state and position. Stand close enough to both Jove and the car for the relevant inventory tabs to appear.
  4. Open inventory with Tab. The player-controlled side is on the left; nearby people, ground, container, or vehicle contexts appear on the right.
  5. Transfer Jove into the car’s available passenger or mount space. Confirm the car tab shows the transfer before closing inventory.
  6. Drive to the hospital marker and speak to the robot or receiving character there.
  7. Return to the required route and extract only after the hospital handoff updates the objective.

If Jove cannot be moved, the likely problem is context or capacity. Reposition beside the car, reopen Tab, and use the tabs at the top to select the correct vehicle. A full or incompatible mount space will not accept the transfer. Do not drop unrelated cargo onto the ground during the menu check unless you are prepared to leave it behind.

Recover an opening mission without restarting the campaign

When a job appears broken, preserve the current state long enough to diagnose it. The inventory does not pause the world, so retreat to cover before opening Tab. Then work through the last expected readback: target confirmed, delivery accepted, weapon in GUN, passenger visible in the vehicle tab, hospital conversation complete, or exit marker active.

Use this order:

  1. Open Escape and restate the current objective in one sentence.
  2. Look for the named marker and compare it with your current position.
  3. Check whether the required person, weapon, vehicle, or container is in the correct inventory context.
  4. Move away from danger before reopening menus or examining an item with F.
  5. Repeat only the last unconfirmed interaction, not the entire mission.
  6. If the live layout clearly differs from this route, trust the current marker and official update notes.

Do not reset the campaign as a first troubleshooting step. The current game has one campaign save, so that button has much larger consequences than restarting one deployment.

What these six jobs prepare you to do next

The opening sequence establishes the systems used throughout the campaign: objectives change after key actions; exits become more important than cleanup; equipment must be placed in the correct slot; vehicles carry their own inventory; and a mount can hold a passenger or container only when its size and capacity allow it.

Later hubs add an Armory for permanent storage, a Fabricator for building from stored parts, gantry pads for keeping vehicles, and repair or salvage decisions. Merchants use credits carried into their maps and can expand their stock as mission phases advance. None of that turns the opening into a speedrun or proves a universal shopping exploit. The safest progression is to bring back intact equipment, park what you intend to keep, and leave a mission once its required state is complete.

For the inventory, ammunition, aiming, mount-size, upgunning, and vehicle-damage rules behind those choices, continue with the Brigador Killers weapons and vehicles guide. For current build identity and future revisions, use the official Steam page and the in-game objective panel rather than demo-era map memory.
