Dark Dimensions alternates ordinary-looking service jobs with much darker portals. The chapter’s trap is assuming that a solved mini-game completes the scene. It does not: the mini-game usually powers a real machine, and you still have to collect its output, repair a character, or assemble the chapter device. Follow the physical readback after every digital puzzle.
Make each node pass three checks
Before leaving a Chapter 4 node, verify three separate states: the environment’s hazard is removed, the stranded robot or machine has responded, and the portal is active. The level-complete card may also display a named fragment. Three batteries improve the rating but are not a substitute for those checks.
The source capture makes VIP Lounge and Repair & Reboot readable on result or chapter screens. Other nodes are identified here by their visible arcade, Christmas workshop, veterinary lab, skull-island, film-studio, alien-garden, and snow-base settings. That is intentional: no hidden node title is inferred from scenery.
VIP Lounge: power the arcade cabinet before playing it
The neon arcade has a prize grabber, cabinet controls, suspended ball, wiring, and several small access panels. Open the physical panels first and restore the cables. A joystick that moves while the cabinet has no power is only an animation; follow the cable to the wireless terminal and supply its missing cell.
The colored-path board belongs to the arcade power chain. Connect matching endpoints without crossing another completed line. Edge pairs should be solved before central pairs because they have fewer legal routes. If the last color has no path, undo the line that occupied the center rather than shuffling every endpoint.
Return to the cabinet, run the arcade action, and use the result on the prize or VIP mechanism. The capture’s level result identifies this node as VIP Lounge. If the result screen does not appear, look for an item still held by the claw or sitting below the dispenser.
Overgrown bunker: extinguish the fire to expose the lower route
The next overgrown installation includes a fire extinguisher, damaged exterior equipment, a dark door, and a connection board. Find and use the extinguisher before trying to open the machinery behind the burning area. The cleared surface reveals a switch, part, or access panel that the rest of the scene needs.
Restore the exterior terminal and solve its movement board. On this grid, a robot placed on its goal can become an obstacle, so route the piece with the narrowest approach first. Use the remaining open rows to bring the second piece around it.
After the terminal confirms success, inspect the screen or hatch that was previously dark. Collect its output and install it on the round central structure. A lit wireless screen without a portal indicates that the output has not been removed from its slot.
Christmas workshop: sort the ornaments before rebuilding the gift machine
The snowy holiday node shows stacked decorations, packages, a Santa-like robot, candy-cane structures, and a workshop machine. Search the presents and the base of the decoration for a handle or control. The visible Handle fragment banner is a separate pickup; do not leave as soon as the main machine starts.
The ball-sort puzzle uses more colors and tubes than the opening chapter. Preserve two working spaces if possible. Complete the color whose balls are already nearest the top, move that tube out of consideration, and repeat. A mixed ball buried under a completed color means the supposed stack was made in the wrong tube.
Use the sorted output and handle on the gift or drill-like machine, then interact with the Santa robot. The character’s tool action exposes the next part and the portal. If Santa remains idle, compare the machine’s two sides for an empty socket.
Repair & Reboot: repair the body before preparing the tank
The grim workshop node contains a damaged orange robot, sink or fluid station, cage, tools, and a tank marked by a wireless symbol. Free access to the damaged body first. Use cutting or gripping tools on the material they visibly match; a key should be saved for the cage or cabinet with a true lock.
Clean or fill the fluid component at the sink, then insert it into the tank. The movement mini-game powers the treatment apparatus. Reserve the destination beside the blocked tiles and approach it before moving the easier robot into place.
Once the tank confirms power, operate the repair arm on the damaged character. A body animation alone is not enough; wait for the character to stand or the treatment machine to show its accepted state. The level screen identifies this route as Repair & Reboot.
Veterinary lab: use the color display to fill the syringe
The clean lab has a circular treatment chamber, several colored bottles, an injured animal-like robot, and a syringe station. Copy the live bottle order from the display into the mixer. The bars beneath the bottles provide the reliable order; choosing colors by the patient’s appearance is a guess.
Place the empty syringe in the receiver before dispensing. When the screen labels it Full Syringe, remove it and use it at the patient station. Then operate the treatment chamber and collect the small reward or key it releases.
The chamber, patient, and portal must all respond. If the patient moves but the portal does not form, a small button or reward in the circular chamber remains uncollected.
Compare machine output states in the Chapter 4 capture
The embedded video is the 34:44 Chapter 4 capture by App Unwrapper. Its public title, channel, duration, and link from the supplied index were independently verified. At this point in the route, use it to compare the object that leaves a powered machine—not merely the solved board shown immediately before it.
Skull island: build the pirate mechanism from the cabin outward
The island shaped like a skull is a layered lock. Begin at the wooden cabin: open its door or hanging cage, collect the key and gauge parts, and inspect the ship-wheel symbol outside. Those pieces feed the large skull mechanism higher on the rock.
Operate the local control panel only after the gauge is installed. If three dials or lights are shown, use the nearby printed clue as their order. Then run the colored-line board, again keeping the edge path clear before consuming the center.
The repaired skull machine changes the island and exposes the portal. Collect the visible Gauge fragment before stepping through. A spinning ship wheel with an unchanged skull face means the gauge or one cabin-side lock is still missing.
Film studio: reproduce the prop plan, then roll the camera
The studio node has a rocket set, camera track, hanging planets, control box, and a paper plan. Read the plan on the desk before moving any props. It shows which celestial pieces or set elements belong together; it is not decorative concept art.
Unlock the camera track, attach the recovered handle or reel, and arrange the rocket set to match the plan. The control panel’s light sequence is a final safety gate. When the green indicator appears, trigger the camera or stage machine.
Wait for the set action to finish and collect the fragment from the display pedestal. If the rocket moves but the level does not finish, compare the hanging props with the plan and check the camera track’s end stop.
Alien garden: harvest the igniter components without waking the wrong hazard
The dark botanical scene contains luminous flowers, an astronaut-like robot, a wireless plant device, and several small parts embedded among the growth. Search the bright plants from multiple angles. Pickups can share the same glow as the leaves.
Activate the plant-side wireless unit, then solve the long tube sorter. Keep empty tubes available and complete one color at a time. When sorting succeeds, the machine exposes a component near the sleeping or damaged robot.
Use the recovered tool on the matching mechanical housing, not directly on the plant. The visible result names the fragment Igniter. The character must be safe and the fragment collected before the portal is a clean exit.
Craft the device before entering the snowy secret base
At the craft screen, compare the sockets with the fragments acquired across the chapter, including the handle, gauge, and igniter. Attach each by connector. The assembled unit shown in the capture includes a gauge, ignition component, cylinder, and hand tool. If a socket remains empty, revisit the result card for the level that should have supplied it.
The final snow-base encounter begins near guarded fencing and large snow robots. Search the perimeter for small tools, open the control panel, and use its three-column symbol clue on the matching device. The order must be read from that panel; there is no evidence that it is a permanent cross-version code.
Run the movement board to position the helper robots, then use the crafted device on the boss or base machinery. Let the enemy enter its disabled state before extracting or freeing the captive. The chapter completes when the final character response leads into the facility transition, not merely when the snow robot falls.
Recovery checks for Dark Dimensions
- Mini-game is green but nothing happens: return to the planet and collect the powered machine’s output.
- Character remains prone: finish the tank, syringe, or repair arm chain; opening the room is only access.
- Craft screen has an empty socket: identify the missing fragment by the preceding result banners, then replay only that node.
- Symbol panel fails: reread the clue beside this device and preserve its camera orientation.
- Portal opens before three batteries: progression is safe. Battery cleanup can be done on replay.
Evidence and platform limit
