Suncraft has 34 Steam achievements. The efficient route is not to grind all counters from the opening hour: finish the story while seeding production totals, solve the three location-based clusters when their regions open, then use the post-credits factory for money, levels, upgrades, contracts, and remaining counts.
This roadmap was checked on August 24, 2026 against Steam’s current 34-entry list, a continuous retail playthrough, puzzle and collection records, and official patches through the newest named version found, v1.1.0. Global completion percentages are intentionally omitted because they drift and do not change the route.
Sort the list by what advances together
The official descriptions divide into six practical lanes. Start all passive counters immediately, but delay dedicated grinding until better tools, gear, ghosts, and recipes make each action cheaper.
| Lane | Achievements | When to finish |
|---|---|---|
| Story | First Light, Fix the Bridge, Into the Dark, Science Reawakened, A Feast to Remember, The Sun’s Return | During the main quest through credits. |
| Levels and skills | Apprentice, Journeyman, Craftsman, Legend of the Village, Skill Ceiling | Spend for route utility; close the long tail post-credits. |
| Production and extraction | First Swings, Production Line, Seasoned Prospector, Green Thumb, Terraformer, Sharp Eye | Let story production seed them, then target the remaining counter. |
| Economy and building | Piggy Bank, Nest Egg, Serious Business, Millionaire, Village Architect, Blueprint Collector, A Community Helper | After contracts and chest-fill convenience are established. |
| Equipment and food | Master Angler, Dressed for Success, Village Chef, Soot’s Favorite | When late materials and high-throughput food inputs are available. |
| World cleanup | Befriend Ember, Ghost in the Machine, Riddle Master, Blessed, Spirit Collector, Message Archivist | Collect as regions open; audit missing entries after credits. |
No cited official source labels an achievement as permanently missable. That is not a guarantee against future changes, so keep a manual save before the banquet and final story band, and verify unlocks after each major event rather than leaving every check until the end.
Carry six story unlocks to the credits
- First Light — complete the first quest.
- Let the tutorial hand-in finish; constructing its first workstation is not enough if the NPC return remains open.
- Fix the Bridge — repair the bridge and reconnect the village.
- Follow the early Crystal repair chain and confirm the bridge objective clears after the interaction.
- Into the Dark — hidden description.
- Treat it as a story checkpoint. Continue the active villager objective instead of attempting an undocumented side action.
- Science Reawakened — hidden description.
- The route progresses through the Ancient Lab and Nikko’s component chain. Complete the report steps after building each requested device.
- A Feast to Remember — hold the banquet that rallies the village.
- Unlock the Cooking Station and Banquet Table through Penny’s chain, supply every requested table slot, and wait for the event to register.
- The Sun’s Return — hidden description.
- Continue the late Sunstone, Obsidian-scan, and related story quests through the credits. Do not substitute an inferred hidden condition for the live objective.
The checkpoint-by-checkpoint progression route covers the bridge, Snowy Peaks transport, Lab, Banquet, Sunforged band, and credits without pretending there is an official exhaustive quest ledger.
Spend skill points for movement before chasing level 100
The level thresholds are explicit: Apprentice at 10, Journeyman at 25, Craftsman at 50, and Legend of the Village at 100. Gathering, building, and production during the story should carry much of the early curve.
Do not hoard every early point solely for Skill Ceiling. Buy upgrades that reduce the time or risk of the route you are currently running. Faster extraction, useful critical-hit support, or production efficiency can shorten several later counters at once. Skill Ceiling is the final state of purchasing every skill, not a requirement to buy them in a particular order.
After credits, read the level bar before choosing a grind. If mining and crafting counters are unfinished, complete those first and let their XP close part of the level gap. A dedicated level grind performed before 20,000 mined resources or 1,000 harvests wastes overlapping progress.
Make one extraction lane serve four counters
First Swings requires 1,000 mined resources, Seasoned Prospector requires 10,000, and Terraformer requires 20,000. They are nested milestones. Keep mining the materials your endgame upgrades and production lines actually consume; do not farm a low-value rock solely to watch the number rise while the factory waits for another ore.
Sharp Eye asks for 1,000 critical hits. Build enough critical-hit support to make those hits happen during the 20,000-resource route, then watch the achievement separately. The target counts successful critical hits, not the number of swings or resources produced.
Version 1.0.1 made Obsidian rocks easier to break and scan. Use the current behavior for the late story scans. Older footage with longer Obsidian work does not establish a current requirement.
Green Thumb requires 1,000 plants harvested. Use crops demanded by food, contracts, offerings, and the banquet so each harvest has a destination. If a passive harvesting tool or helper is doing the work, check whether the achievement counter actually advances before scaling that method across the farm.
Count crafted output, not machine activity
Production Line requires 1,000 crafted items. A machine powered for an hour can still contribute nothing if its output is blocked. Choose a repeatable item with a stable input supply, leave output space, and sample the inventory before and after a production window.
Midgame gathering becomes more automated, but developer guidance says crafting still involves moving materials from place to place. Ghosts reduce transport and sorting pressure; they do not prove that every crafted item has registered. Use periodic inventory and achievement readbacks.
Version 1.1.0 increased base ghost speed and improved endgame fuel-efficiency upgrades. It also added up to three market ghosts. These changes make the long production run faster, but they do not alter the official 1,000-item achievement description.
Build the economy around contracts, not idle stock
The money ladder is cumulative in description: Piggy Bank at 10,000 gold, Nest Egg at 50,000, Serious Business at 200,000, and Millionaire at 1,000,000. Do not assume the current wallet must hold the full amount unless the client wording changes; the official descriptions use “Earn.”
A Community Helper asks for 100 contracts. Start contracts when Penny’s route opens them, but reject no story stock to an automatic loop until you can replace it. The v1.1.0 equipment upgrade can submit contracts directly from chests. Verify that upgrade in the Equipment panel before diagnosing an invisible chest item as a bug.
Combine the late money and contract lanes:
- Select requests supported by an existing production chain.
- Reserve quest, blessing, accessory, and blueprint materials outside the sale flow.
- Clear output bottlenecks so completed goods enter storage.
- Submit the contract and confirm both the contract count and gold change.
- Change recipes only when input shortages make another request genuinely cheaper.
Village Architect requires 50 buildings. Count useful infrastructure first: workstations, storage, farming, mining, power, and transport. Do not carpet the map with disposable structures until the current build count has been checked.
Blueprint Collector requires every blueprint. Save it for after story shop inventories and region access have stabilized. Audit each merchant or blueprint interface once, buy the missing entries, then reopen the achievement panel. “Every” is sensitive to newly unlocked stock; an early shop clear is not the final audit.
Separate the Banquet story event from Village Chef
The story banquet unlocks A Feast to Remember. Village Chef is a different, longer condition. In v1.1.0 the developer changed it to track every banquet dish being filled to its individual maximum. Repeating one cheap recipe no longer advances the intended completion state.
Open the Banquet Table and inspect every dish slot. Work through one recipe chain at a time:
- Record the slot’s current amount and maximum.
- Trace missing ingredients back through crops, fishing, market purchases, and cooking stations.
- Fill that dish until the table shows its maximum.
- Move to the next unmaxed slot instead of continuing production blindly.
If the achievement does not unlock after the visible table is full, reload the table panel and verify every individual maximum. Do not use pre-v1.1 advice based on a total number of dishes made.
Fold fishing into Soot and the Banquet
Master Angler requires 250 fish. Soot’s Favorite requires feeding Soot 50 fish. Reserve those 50 before sending all catches into cooking. Feeding is a direct Soot interaction; storing fish near the cat or petting Soot does not satisfy this condition.
The Blessing of Soot also uses the cat, but it comes from repeated petting rather than feeding. Keep the two actions separate in your checklist. Fish beyond Soot’s 50 can supply banquet recipes or other production while advancing the 250-catch total.
Upgrade every accessory only after the story gear gates
Dressed for Success requires every accessory to reach Sunforged. First unlock the accessory set and the Verdant, Azure, and Sunforged progression required by the story. Then make an inventory of every accessory slot or entry; upgrading only the currently equipped loadout is not enough if another accessory remains at a lower tier.
Version 1.1.0 rebalanced accessory upgrades, making some stronger and available earlier. That can change the cheapest order, so avoid a fixed “best first” ranking. Upgrade what improves the active mining, production, or movement lane, then complete the remaining list after essential quest materials are safe.
Finish three world-cleanup clusters with readbacks
Befriend Ember records Ember joining as the first energy courier. Ghost in the Machine records the first Ghost. Both arise through the game’s progression systems; if one is missing, continue the named quests and verify the roster rather than trying an undocumented purchase.
Riddle Master requires the book, torch, and pillar riddles. The book board is a 31-move, five-piece Tower of Hanoi; the torch board uses a five-color positional pattern; the pillar accepts Magma Shard, Gold Ingot, Glass, and Grapes. Follow the exact Riddle Master solutions and confirm all three states.
Blessed requires all eight blessings. Spirit Collector requires all five Ghost Essences. The fifth Essence is hidden in a moss-covered broken tile just left of the lower-left banquet-table area. The blessings and Ghost Essence checklist separates those five Essence sources from the three extra market ghosts added in v1.1.0.
Message Archivist requires every message in a bottle. Collect bottles as each shoreline opens and keep a region checklist. The cited sources do not support a trustworthy exact bottle-by-bottle coordinate list, so this roadmap does not invent one. After credits, sweep each accessible coast and confirm that every collected bottle has been opened or read, not merely placed in storage.

For a missing counter, return to the lane that produces it and measure one clean action. For a missing world unlock, inspect the journal or solved object. For a hidden story achievement, resume the active main quest. This narrows the fault without erasing a working factory or replaying unrelated content.
