Find My Frogs: Branches Completion Route: Keys, Containers, and 41 Achievements

Official Find My Frogs Branches screenshot showing the hand-drawn Upper Moss Glade tree village

To complete the main quest in Find My Frogs: Branches, find every frog and toad, collect the square, triangular, and round keys, and find Uncle Froger’s Hat. You can continue searching for Secrets after completing the game. For all 41 achievements, use the route below to check each location, the three container sets, and the remaining interactions and collections.

This route covers the full PC release. A named location achievement confirms that you have found its frogs and toads, while its Secrets can still be unfinished. My Eye Studio confirmed the location achievement rules, post-game Secret cleanup, star indicators, and hint rules in correspondence on October 11, 2026.

Read the save as three different completion ledgers

Check the frog counter, Secret categories, map stars, and collected keys separately. A location achievement can appear before you have found that location’s Secrets.

  • Frogs and toads: the named location achievements cover these. Tea House, for example, unlocks when every frog and toad in that house is marked.
  • Secrets and interactions: collection achievements such as Mouse Friends, The Beetles, and Green Thumb sit outside the named-area frog check. Their remaining icons can survive after an area achievement appears.
  • Progression objects: the square, triangular, and round keys are required for the main quest, along with every frog and toad and Uncle Froger’s Hat. You can find the hat before finishing optional Secrets and continue collecting them afterward.

After a location achievement appears, check that location’s image on the Map. A star appears when you have found all of its Secrets. When every location’s Secrets are complete, a star also appears on the Map image in the Main Menu. If a location has no star, inspect its remaining Secret categories and nested entrances: houses, teapots, chests, and clocks have their own contents, so return to the interior that still needs attention.

You can use the Magnifying Glass (Hint) without affecting any achievement. Check the Map and remaining categories to choose the location you still need, then use the hint inside that location, including during cleanup after the main quest.

Follow the gates in this order, but clean each open branch before moving on

Follow this order through the tree’s locked routes and nested rooms. The times identify matching checkpoints in squishy long plays’ full-release walkthrough. Clearing Secrets as you go can reduce return visits, but you can also finish the main quest first and return for them afterward.

Route block What should become true Useful video checkpoints
Tea House Clear Teapot 1, perform the origami help interaction, and finish every frog and toad in the house. Do not leave the first main room with a local counter still visible. Teapot 1 at 1:21; Tea House at 2:16; A Helping Hand at 3:00; Tea House at 11:00
Between Tea House and Tailor House Clear Teapot 2 and Chest 1 when they become available. Logging them now prevents a ten-room container audit near the end. Teapot 2 at 12:28; Chest 1 at 12:59
Tailor House and Trunk Mark the fairy frog, finish Tailor House, then work through the Trunk. The flying frog and the 100-frog milestone occur in this block. Continue through the Trunk’s nested plant view until the square key is exposed. Tailor House at 13:55; A Little Fairy at 14:16; Flying Frog at 21:11; Trunk at 22:38; square key at 33:05
Hollow and Little Branch Use the square-key route into Hollow. Finish Hollow, then Little Branch. Chest 2 contains the triangle key, so this nested room is both a container-cleanup step and the next gate. Hollow at 33:16; Hollow at 43:49; Little Branch at 44:41; Chest 2 at 44:46; triangle key at 44:55
Eye Doctor House Complete the eye examination interaction, clear the house, then open Chest 3. The pirate frog is tied to this short chest detour rather than a fresh main-map search. House at 46:09; Eye See You at 46:29; house complete at 47:44; Chest 3 at 48:00; Ahoy, Frog! at 48:08
Dumplings House Eat the hot dumpling, clear Chest 4, and finish Teapot 3. At this point the Chests and Teapots achievements should provide two clean global readbacks. House at 50:12; hot dumpling at 50:26; Chest 4 at 51:49; Chests at 52:21; Teapot 3 at 53:29; Teapots at 54:06; house complete at 56:56
Clockmaker House Clear Clock 1, enter the house, then clear Clock 2. The round key is inside this second clock. After taking it, verify All the Keys, then finish the clock frog and watch-caterpillar interactions before leaving. Clock 1 at 57:53; house at 58:39; Clock 2 at 58:51; round key at 59:12; All the Keys at 1:00:13; house complete at 1:02:04
Owl Mage House Use the crystal ball, finish the house, and complete the seedling set. Clock 3 follows this block and should close the three-clock ledger. House at 1:02:58; Fortune Teller at 1:03:09; house complete at 1:05:19; Green Thumb at 1:05:55; Clock 3 at 1:06:24; Clocks at 1:07:01
Upper Moss Glade Complete the fruit help action and finish the glade’s frogs and toads. You can collect owls and mice during this visit or return for optional Secrets after finishing the main quest. Glade at 1:07:21; Fruit Help at 1:09:16; Wise Owls at 1:11:13; Mouse Friends at 1:13:21; glade complete at 1:24:36
Treetop and hat Finish the remaining frogs and toads and collect the hat once all three keys are found. For a single cleanup pass, you can finish the remaining collections first. In the recorded route, Treetop, Excellent Seeker, and Found It! appear together because the Secrets are already complete. Treetop at 1:24:41; final collection block from 1:25:28; hat at 1:26:32; three final achievements at 1:26:34

This order is useful because every return has a specific diagnosis. A locked forward door after the Trunk means the square-key block is unfinished. A lock after Little Branch points back to Chest 2 and its triangle key. A missing final key points to Clock 2, not to every leaf in Upper Moss Glade.

Finish the room’s visible frogs and its interaction objects as two separate passes before returning to the map.

The three keys are route checks, not optional collectibles

All three keys are required to complete the main quest. Find the key in its nested scene, select it, then return to the locked route and check that you can continue. The locations and times below follow the recorded completion route; the developer’s clarification confirms the three required shapes.

  1. Square key: stay in the extended Trunk block after its frog-and-toad achievement. Enter the circular planter or nest-like sub-scene and clear the large foreground leaves. The square key becomes visible across the lower-left portion of that small scene at about 33:05. It is the handoff into Hollow.
  2. Triangle key: finish Hollow and Little Branch, then open Chest 2. The triangular bow-like key sits among the chest objects at about 44:55. Because the key is inside a chest, skipping that interior can leave the next part of the route locked.
  3. Round key: enter Clock 2 during the Clockmaker block. Work the interactive clock face until the lower mechanism opens; the round key is collected at about 59:12. The All the Keys achievement follows at 1:00:13, after the route returns from the nested clock state.

If a key was visibly selected but the next state did not update, wait for the marking animation to finish before leaving the room. Then open the map and confirm the shape is recorded. Repeatedly clicking a locked door cannot repair a key that was exposed but never registered.

Clear all ten container interiors while their parent route is fresh

For Teapots, Chests, and Clocks, find everything inside every location of the corresponding type. This rule covers all contents, whereas the named location achievements check frogs and toads. The recorded route below tracks three teapots, four chests, and three clocks; each interior has its own remaining items.

Set Required interiors Best completion readback
Teapots Teapot 1 at 1:21; Teapot 2 at 12:28; Teapot 3 at 53:29 Teapots appears at 54:06, after the third interior is cleared.
Chests Chest 1 at 12:59; Chest 2 at 44:46; Chest 3 at 48:00; Chest 4 at 51:49 Chests appears at 52:21. Chest 2 also supplies the triangle key.
Clocks Clock 1 at 57:53; Clock 2 at 58:51; Clock 3 at 1:06:24 Clocks appears at 1:07:01. Clock 2 also supplies the round key.

Use a two-pass scan inside these spaces. First mark the obvious frogs and characters so their animations stop competing for attention. Then read the small secret panel and sweep object edges, lids, handles, hanging pieces, and anything that opens. If the set achievement does not appear after the last numbered space, the failure is inside one of those ten interiors; there is no reason to recheck an unrelated main house.

A container is finished only when its own inhabitants and secrets are marked, not when the lid has been opened.

Make the 41 achievements close four proof states

Use the achievement groups below to decide what to search for next: a location’s frogs and toads, a container’s contents, a main quest item, or an unfinished interaction or collection.

Eleven location checks

Tea House, Tailor House, Trunk, Hollow, Little Branch, Eye Doctor House, Dumplings House, Clockmaker House, Owl Mage House, Upper Moss Glade, and Treetop each require every frog and toad in that named place. When one appears, that location’s frogs and toads are complete. Check for a star on its Map image to see whether its Secrets are also finished.

Three container-set checks

Teapots, Chests, and Clocks close only after all members of the set have been visited and emptied. Use the numbered checkpoint list above; a set that remains locked has one small interior left, not an unknown world-map location.

Five progression and meta checks

  • Golden Frog is the 100-frog milestone and arrives naturally during the Trunk block in the recorded route.
  • All the Keys verifies square, triangle, and round key collection after Clock 2.
  • Seeker of Secrets verifies the global secret ledger, while Excellent Seeker combines Uncle Froger’s quest with all secrets. These are stronger proofs than any one area achievement.
  • Found It! is the hat result at the top of the tree. You can find the hat before finishing Secrets, then continue collecting them after the main quest.

Twenty-two interaction and collection checks

Twelve are identifiable actions or characters: Flying Frog, A Helping Hand, A Little Fairy, Fruit Help, Eye See You, Ahoy, Frog!, Hot Dumpling, Fortune Teller, Frog O’Clock, Nice watch!, Frog in the Stars, and Maintenance Crew. Seeing the relevant frog is not always enough. Complete the associated origami, fruit, eye exam, dumpling, crystal-ball, clock, elevator, or other visible interaction and allow its animation to resolve.

The remaining ten are collection families: Wise Owls, Green Thumb, Mouse Friends, Cozy Toads, Busy Goblins, The Caterpillars, Ghosts in the Clouds, Slow and Steady, Dumplings Lover, and The Beetles. These cross room boundaries. Chase them through the map’s remaining-category information instead of relying on memory of what each crowded scene looked like.

Finding the hat and finishing Secrets after the main quest

Once you have found all frogs and toads, all three keys, and Uncle Froger’s Hat, the main quest is complete. Secrets are an optional objective that runs alongside it, and My Eye Studio confirms that you can continue searching for them after completing the game. There is no need to finish Secret cleanup before selecting the hat.

If you want to finish the collections during the same trip to Treetop, use this optional checklist. It also works for cleanup after the main quest:

  • all eleven named location achievements, with the final Treetop result still pending if you are following the recorded pre-hat route;
  • Teapots, Chests, Clocks, and All the Keys;
  • zero remaining entries for owls, seedlings, mice, toads, goblins, caterpillars, ghosts, snails, dumplings, and beetles;
  • the one-off help and character interactions from the previous section;
  • a star on every location’s Map image and on the Main Menu’s Map image, confirming that all Secrets are found.

The walkthrough reaches Upper Moss Glade’s location achievement at 1:24:36 and enters Treetop five seconds later. In that finish, Cozy Toads, Slow and Steady, Dumplings Lover, The Beetles, Frog in the Stars, The Caterpillars, Ghosts in the Clouds, Maintenance Crew, Busy Goblins, and Seeker of Secrets close between 1:25:28 and 1:26:28. The hat is then marked at 1:26:32. Treetop, Excellent Seeker, and Found It! follow together at 1:26:34. That timing describes this run, which completed Secrets before the hat; it is not a required order for Secret cleanup.

Diagnose the last missing result from what already succeeded

What you can prove What is still wrong Where to act next
A named area achievement appeared A secret category can still be nonzero Check for its Map star. If it is absent, inspect the remaining Secret categories and nested entrances, then use the Magnifying Glass without affecting achievements.
All area achievements appeared, but Seeker of Secrets did not The frog-and-toad ledger is complete; a cross-location secret family is not Read the category panel for mice, beetles, goblins, caterpillars, ghosts, snails, dumplings, owls, or seedlings. Do not rescan only for frogs.
Chests, Teapots, or Clocks is missing At least one numbered interior was skipped or left nonzero Use the 3/4/3 container list and revisit only that set. Remember that opening is not clearing.
A forward door remains locked The next key is absent or was not registered Check square in the late Trunk planter, triangle in Chest 2, or round in Clock 2, in that order.
The target character is visible but its achievement is absent The associated action is unfinished Interact with the paired prop and wait for the full animation: origami, fruit, eye exam, hot dumpling, crystal ball, clock, or elevator mechanism.
The main quest is complete, but a location has no Map star That location still has Secrets to find Continue searching in that location and its nested rooms. Check the Main Menu’s Map image for a star once every location is finished.
Only Found It! and the final meta result remain The route is ready for the story object Return to Treetop and select Uncle Froger’s purple hat. Secret cleanup can be completed afterward if any remains.

Day, night, and the flowing time cycle are presentation choices supported by the full release. Pick the contrast that makes outlines easiest for you, but do not expect a time change to replace an unfinished interaction. If a counter does not move, change the room or the action, not merely the lighting.

This guide was checked on September 3, 2026 against Steam AppID 3948760. Steam identifies My Eye Studio as both developer and publisher, records the August 26 release, and exposes 41 current achievements. The launch notice supplies the full-release scale of 425-plus frogs and toads, 230-plus secrets, and 22 locations. No English Steam Community Guide was listed for this AppID during the check, so the route relies on the supplied full-release footage, official achievement descriptions, and direct visual verification rather than importing the unrelated walkthrough for the first Find My Frogs.
