Bunker Tidy Up walkthrough: fill every shelf and reach the exit

Official Bunker Tidy Up screenshot of supply piles and shelving in the bunker

Fill every labeled shelf in Bunker Tidy Up until the counters reach 17,437/17,437 supplies and 136/136 shelves. Then go to the green-lit door on the upper walkway and use it to finish the game. Each completed shelf earns upgrade points. Spend those points as you clear the piles so that finding, carrying, and placing the remaining supplies gets easier.

The first shelf and the three counters

After the opening tutorial, pick up one of the large water barrels from the pile and carry it to the Water barrel shelf. Its outline turns green when the selected item belongs there. Keep placing matching barrels until the shelf is full. That first shelf takes five barrels. The HUD then reads 5/17,437 items, 1/136 shelves, and 10 upgrade points, while “Sorted Water barrel +10” appears on screen.

After the fifth barrel, the HUD shows 5 supplies and 1 completed shelf, and the +10 reward appears above the rack.

Watch the three numbers at the upper left as you work. The box counts individual supplies you have put away; the shelf icon counts completed shelves; the star shows points available in Upgrades. Several items can raise the box count without finishing a shelf. Wait for the shelf total or the “Sorted” reward to change before expecting more upgrade points.

Your carried items appear in a list on the right, with an arrow marking the selected one. The opening capacity is five items. When the list contains several types, switch to the item you want to shelve before judging a highlighted destination. The bottom HUD shows G Drop while you are carrying something. Drop an item if a mixed handful is blocking you from collecting more of the type you are working on, then return for it when you have found its shelf.

Read the shelf labels before moving a load

Wooden signs divide the bunker into groups such as food and Survival Equipment. Within each group, read the label on the individual shelf. It might ask for Water barrel, Compass, Iodine, Radio, or a particular canned food. The fraction beside the item name shows how many are in place and how many the shelf needs. Use that exact name to choose your next load; a nearby shelf in the right general category might still be meant for another item.

Open the image to read the small labels. Pickled peppers and Pickled beans have separate shelves; the fraction beside each name tells you whether that shelf is complete.

If you are holding an unfamiliar item, unlock Right Shelf. Press C to show shelves that accept what is in your hands. The first level costs 10 stars, lasts five seconds, and has a 30-second cooldown. Check it before carrying a load across the bunker. The destination may be on the lower floor, in a side bay, or along the raised walkway.

Colored outlines help when you are close. A compatible shelf glows green; an incompatible target can appear red. Check the item name beside the outline before placing anything. Several packages look similar, and the inventory arrow may be pointing at a different object than you intended. If a shelf turns red, check which item is selected, then use Right Shelf again if its destination is still unclear.

If Right Shelf points to a full rack and Everything Away will not accept the item, check for the same item type stored on two different shelves. Tovarishch Games confirmed that duplicate placement causes this problem in v1.0.5: a copy elsewhere is taking up a shelf spot. Correct the duplicate placement, then try shelving the remaining item again. If you cannot see the duplicate, compare the shelf labels and contents on both the ground floor and upper walkway.

Spend shelf rewards on the abilities you will use

Press Tab to open Upgrades. The menu shows each next level’s effect and price, so check what you can afford after finishing a shelf. Its nine choices solve different parts of the sorting job:

Upgrade What the menu says it does Useful moment
Match Finder Shows every floor item of the same type as the one in your hands. Use R when you have one sample and need the rest of its scattered copies. The first unlock shows them for five seconds.
Right Shelf Shows shelves that accept your held item. Use C before a long trip with a type whose labeled shelf you have not found.
Magnet Pulls the nearest items of the same type into your hands. Use V after finding a cluster of matching supplies. The displayed first level collects five per use.
Grabby Hands Increases how many items you can carry at once. The first upgrade changes the displayed capacity from five to ten, reducing repeated trips to a shelf.
Compaction Gathers identical held items into one stack and moves whole stacks when switching. Use it when duplicate items fill the inventory list and switching between types slows you down.
Quick Step Raises movement speed. It helps when the matching shelf is across the chamber or upstairs. The first menu level displays a 20% increase.
Springiness Raises jump height. Use it when a jump is holding up your route; the first level displays a 50% increase.
Everything Away Sends held items to shelves already holding the same type. Use X after you have placed at least one copy on the appropriate shelves. It cannot identify a first empty shelf for you.
Autoloader Automatically places items on shelves and takes them back while you hold the button. Hold the placement input at a matching shelf instead of placing repeated copies individually. The shown first level feeds five items per second.

Pick the upgrade that solves the delay you keep running into. Right Shelf finds an unknown destination; Match Finder finds copies hidden in floor piles. Grabby Hands, Magnet, and Autoloader help once you know where an item goes but have many copies to move. Compaction tidies the carried-item list. Quick Step and Springiness change how you move around the bunker.

Clear a type from floor to shelf

When you recognize an object in the pile, keep one in hand as a sample. Find its exact shelf, using Right Shelf if necessary, and place the first copy. You now know both the destination and the label’s target quantity. Search the nearby floor for more of the same type, then carry a batch back. With Match Finder unlocked, activate it while still holding the sample to reveal matching items on the floor. Magnet can pull nearby copies into your hands, but it collects the same type as the held item, so change the selected item before using it for another batch.

With Cat food selected, matching packets stand out in yellow across the pile. Follow those outlines to gather one type before returning to its shelf.

Once a shelf contains a copy, Everything Away can distribute matching items from your hands to shelves already holding that type. Place the first copy yourself so the ability has a matching shelf to use. At the shelf, hold Autoloader’s placement input to feed repeated items and watch the label’s fraction rise. If the wrong object is selected, choose the one named on the shelf before holding the input again.

The bunker has a crowded ground floor and a raised walkway reached by stairs. Supplies and shelves appear in both areas, including side bays off the walkway. Move between the central piles, food shelves, and Survival Equipment as the item in your hands requires. Before leaving a pile, look again for small packets and cans that were hidden under the larger objects you just removed.

A row of radios or compasses can look full from across the room while its label still has several slots left. Read the fraction. The shelf counter advances when the whole set has been accepted, so return to a partly filled row after Match Finder has led you to the remaining copies.

Find the last supplies and open the exit

When the central mound has disappeared, use the HUD to decide what is left. If the supply count is short, search the ground floor, the stairs and the upper walkway for loose objects. The final portion of the run moves between nearly cleared floor patches and specific partly filled shelves. A single can or packet can remain easy to miss against the gray floor. Pick up anything you find, read its name in the carried-item list, and use Right Shelf to locate the exact destination.

If the shelf count is short, inspect the fractions on shelves that still have a gap. Match Finder only searches for more copies of the type you are holding; it is not a universal marker for all missing supplies. Right Shelf also requires a held item. Start from a visible incomplete label or a loose object, use its name to choose which ability to activate, and repeat the search on both levels. A full inventory of unrelated items makes that search harder, so deliver or drop those items before chasing the last copy of a particular type.

Once all 136 shelves are full, the exit door on the upper walkway lights up green and becomes interactable. At 17,437/17,437 supplies and 136/136 shelves, return to the door beside the bookcases and interact with it to start the ending cutscene. Afterward, you reach the completion message and its Exit to Menu button. Steam lists 14 achievements; finishing the sorting task does not by itself confirm that you have earned all of them.
