For a new Fields of Mistria 1.0 save, follow Adeline’s town repairs while you build Renown through shipping, requests, and Museum donations. Repair the Eastern Road bridge first, reach Stone Town Rank to open the Mines, and keep the next project’s materials out of the shipping bin. Farming, collecting, and relationships can advance on the same days; none requires you to abandon the repair chain. The town route now ends with the Bell Tower and Mistril Town Rank 100. Marriage, a child, and a completed Museum are separate goals you can pursue alongside it.

Start with the active town project in your Journal. Once you have its next material target, use the rest of the day for crops, Museum finds, or the villagers you want to know better.
- Town restoration: Repair the bridge and unlock Saturday Market first. Later, expand the market, repair the Bell Tower, and reach Rank 100.
- Farm and collections: Ship crops and donate first finds for Renown. Use that income and Renown to support later repairs and complete Museum sets.
- Relationships: Talk, gift, and complete heart events. Eight hearts with Juniper and Eiland support the deepest mine quest; marriage and a child are optional.
- Mines and magic: Reach Stone Rank and enter the Mines. Later, open the biome seals and complete the floor 100 story.
This guide follows the town, farm, collection, and relationship routes. For the exact offerings, translation conversations, and puzzles at mine floors 20 through 100, use our Fields of Mistria mine progression guide when you reach each seal. You only need the mine milestones that supply materials or unlock another route to keep the broader walkthrough moving.
Spring 1 to the first Saturday Market: repair the bridge
Accept Adeline’s introduction task and use the map to find townspeople you have not greeted. Meet Errol at the Museum when Museum Donations Wanted appears; that opens a second use for your first fish, insect, flower, or artifact instead of turning every find into shipping money. On Spring 3, read Adeline’s bridge letter. Take 60 Wood and 60 Stone to the donation box beside the broken Eastern Road bridge, then speak with Adeline to finish the repair. The Saturday Market can return once that route is open.
Do not confuse possession with delivery. The project tracks what you put into its own box, and the conversation afterward completes the job. If the box will not take an item, open the active quest in the Journal and compare its name and quantity with the item in your inventory. A stack placed in your farm chest does not count as a donation.
Use the newly available market as a weekly meeting point. Nora’s vendor task asks you to meet the four visiting merchants and report back to her. Keep talking to villagers while doing errands, especially Juniper and Eiland if you want the final mine story later. Friendship gained now means less waiting when that story eventually asks for eight hearts with each of them.
Raise Town Rank to Stone, level 10, through shipped items, Museum donations, and completed requests. Collect the rank reward at the chest beside the Request Board, then read the letter about the Mines and meet Eiland at the entrance in the Narrows. The mine unlock is a town milestone plus a follow-up meeting; walking to the door with enough Renown alone does not finish the quest. If it stays closed, check the mail and your active Unlocking the Mines objective.
Your first purchase depends on what is slowing you down. The General Store sells the 1,000 Tesserae Bag Upgrade, which expands the starting 10 slots to 20. The Tackle Shop on the Beach sells a Worn Fishing Rod for 500 Tesserae. Buy the bag if you keep leaving first-time finds behind; buy the rod first if fish donations and sales would get you to Stone Rank sooner. Later, you can forge a copper rod after opening the Mines and reaching Blacksmithing level 4.
From Food Reserves to the General Store
After the bridge, follow Adeline’s Restocking Mistria’s Food Reserves letter and meeting. Ship ten crops, then return to her when the quest tells you to report in. If you have been holding harvests for cooking, this is the moment to use the shipping bin. It also raises Renown while you wait for the next repair letter. The Mill project follows after the quest’s waiting period, rather than appearing simply because you have enough Wood and Stone.
For The Mill Restoration Project, deliver 150 Wood, 200 Stone, and two Copper Ingots at the Mill, and pay Adeline 1,000 Tesserae. Copper Ore by itself is not a substitute for an ingot: smelt it at the blacksmith’s forge first. Once the project completes, the Mill can process products such as Milk into Cheese. That matters later when the town asks for animal products.
Read the next letter and meet Adeline in front of the Manor House for the Beautification Project. Its result is access to the Summit, which also becomes relevant to the Shooting Star Festival and proposal scenes. There is no reason to grind another pile of building materials for this conversation step.
The following major construction is Repair the General Store. After the Mill and Beautification meeting, read Adeline’s next letter. You can receive the store project before clearing the Water Tablet, but you need to open the floor-20 Water Seal to mine the required Iron. Bring 300 Wood, 500 Stone, five Copper Ingots, and five Iron Ingots to the store’s donation box; Adeline also asks for 3,000 Tesserae. The expanded store adds more seasonal seed options. While gathering Iron, work on donations or requests between mine trips.

Beach, livestock, and Inn: keep the repair chain moving
The later repairs are sequential, but their materials can be gathered in parallel. Check the mailbox after finishing a project, attend its named meeting, deliver to that project’s box, and make the final payment or conversation. Keep the next project’s Wood, Stone, ingots, and money out of the shipping bin.
- Repair the Beach Bridge: Deliver 300 Wood, 150 Stone, and 50 Fiber, then pay Terithia 1,000 Tesserae. This opens the Western Beach.
- Restocking Mistria’s Food Reserves 2: Put 12 Chicken Eggs and 10 Cheese into the Inn box to complete the animal product supply request.
- Upgrade Hayden’s Barn: Deliver 400 Wood, 500 Stone, and eight Iron Ingots, then pay 4,000 Tesserae. More farm animals become adoptable.
- Upgrade the Inn: Deliver 600 Wood, 500 Stone, ten Silver Ingots, 25 Glass, and ten Peat, then pay 6,000 Tesserae. The Inn gains more food and recipes.
Terithia’s bridge is by her house on the Beach; take its payment to her after loading the box. For the second Food Reserves order, raise chickens for Chicken Eggs and cows for Milk, then make Cheese at the restored Mill. Milk in your inventory is not Cheese in the Inn box. Hayden’s barn expansion follows that supply job. After the barn work, a separate Weathervane quest can open the mount route; it does not replace the next town repair. The Inn upgrade is where earlier mine and excavation habits pay off, since Silver Ingots, Glass, and Peat join the usual Wood and Stone bill.
If you are short of Renown while collecting the larger stacks, finish a Request Board order you can satisfy without spending reserved repair materials. Donate a new Museum specimen before selling its duplicates, then ship your surplus harvest and catches. Check the rank chest beside the board after leveling; its reward is a separate pickup from the quest board itself.
The 1.0 repair finale: Refinery, markets, Carpenter, Bell Tower
After the Inn, the Stone Refinery becomes your next target. Finish the preceding repair, read Adeline’s mail as you advance through the Sapphire and Silver ranks, and go to the meeting named in the new quest. Rank references differ on the precise level that starts the Refinery and the first market upgrade. If no letter arrives, continue earning Renown and confirm that the previous project’s final conversation is complete. The donation lists below tell you what to reserve once each quest appears.
- Stone Refinery, after the Inn: At the Mines entrance, deliver 200 Wood, 400 Stone, and 20 Sap; pay Adeline 5,000 Tesserae. The Refinery opens for processed stone and other materials.
- Upgrade the Saturday Market, after the Refinery: At the Manor, deliver 20 Crystal, eight Gold Ingots, 100 Hard Wood, 20 Obsidian, and 50 Refined Stone. Wheedle and Taliferro join the market.
- Upgrade the Carpenter’s Shop, after the market upgrade and Emerald Rank 70: At the shop, deliver 30 Crystal, 100 Glass, 30 Obsidian, and 100 Refined Stone. Its stock expands and the Small White Greenhouse blueprint appears.
- Expand the Saturday Market, after the Carpenter and Gold Rank 80: At the plaza by the Blacksmith, deliver 50 Voidite, 20 Refined Stone, five Mistril Ingots, ten Monster Cores, and five Monster Blocks. Stillwell and Zorel join; meet them and report to Nora.
- Repair the Bell Tower, after the new vendors and Diamond Rank 90: Outside the tower, deliver 20 Refined Stone, 30 Hard Wood, one Dragon-Forged Fang, and one Dragon-Forged Core. Speak with Adeline to finish the final repair.
This is where the town and mine routes meet again. Refined Stone needs the Refinery; the late market expansion needs materials from deep mine exploration; and the Bell Tower consumes two Dragon-Forged items made at the special forge on mine floor 90. Before spending a Core on the tower, remember that the optional Engagement Ring also needs one. The mine seal walkthrough covers the floor access, forge, and final seal without making you repeat those steps here.
When the Bell Tower is repaired, the town restoration questline has a visible endpoint. Keep shipping, donating, and completing requests to reach Mistril Town Rank 100 and its rank event. Completing a repair and reaching Rank 100 are related goals, but one does not automatically award the other.
Farm and Museum route: earn Renown without losing rare finds
The Museum accepts Flora, Fish, Insects, and Archaeological Finds. Carry a new specimen to Errol before you sell, cook, gift, or use it in a different project. Its donation adds to collection progress and Renown; duplicates can become income. Check the Museum list when you are missing a set item instead of collecting random copies of one thing you already donated. In 1.0, the Museum can be completed, including the Honey and Terrarium Treasures sets added at full release.
Separate seasonal finds from year-round excavation. Fish and insects have season, weather, and location conditions. A dig spot at the Western Ruins or Beach contributes to different artifact sets. When a set is short, use its Museum checklist to name the missing item and search in its stated place and season. That makes a rainy fishing day or a trip past a dig site purposeful, while shipping the duplicates keeps your repair fund alive.
In your first spring, that can be a short circuit rather than a special collection day: look for a Daffodil in the Narrows or Sweetwater Farm, check Western Ruins for a Snowdrop Anemone, and fish Mistria or Eastern Road ponds for an Angel Fish. All three are Museum donations. The Snowdrop Anemone also grows on the western Beach, but that route needs Terithia’s bridge repair; Western Ruins is the earlier option. At the Beach, a Beach Hopper is an insect donation available beyond spring, so it does not need the same calendar priority.

Finish the Honey and Terrarium Treasures sets
These two 1.0 additions give your insect collection a job beyond the first donation. At Ruby Town Rank, complete the quests that unlock Apiaries and Terrariums. An Apiary takes bees; a Terrarium takes insects other than bees. Fill one with four suitable insects, wait three days, then provide the flower requested by the Apiary or the crop or forageable requested by the Terrarium. The Apiary pays out honey items according to bee rarity. The Terrarium gives fish bait or bug pheromones according to insect rarity; those items can also help you find fish and bugs for other Museum sets.
The Honey set needs Honey, Premium Honey, Deluxe Honey, Legendary Honey, and Honeycomb. The Terrarium Treasures set needs Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary Bug Pheromones plus Uncommon and Rare Fish Bait. Check the Insects wing before using or selling a new payout. A Terrarium can give bait when you still need pheromones, so keep its three-day cycle going and save the first missing type. These maker sets are not tied to a particular season; use your limited spring, summer, fall, and winter days for the fish, insects, and crops that disappear at a season change.
For shipping income, the basic General Store offers quick spring Turnips and the more expensive Strawberry, which regrows after its first harvest. In summer, Tomato and Corn also regrow. A regrowing seed only pays off if enough days remain in its season, so check the calendar before buying a late batch. Save the first crop of a museum-eligible type for donation, sell enough crops to finish Food Reserves, and keep the repair materials separate. This routine serves the farm and town routes without forcing one crop to do every job.
Spend Essence on the activity that currently blocks you. Prepared Picker can produce plantable seeds from forageables, Aquatic Antiquities can add aquatic artifacts to fishing, and Museum Quality I improves uncommon artifact finds. If Copper Ingots are your bottleneck, Copper Expert reduces their ore cost; if a mine trip is consuming too much stamina, Earth Breaker can break extra rocks. You can eventually enable many perks, so the early choice is about which resource shortage you want to ease first.
Keep festival dates on your calendar
Festivals are optional, but several reward preparation during the days before the event. You do not have to halt a repair project to join one. Use the calendar in your farmhouse so a box hand-in or long mine trip does not consume the day you meant to attend.
- Spring Festival, Spring 17: Celine visits on Spring 14, after which farming, fishing, mining, and other activities can drop Breath of Spring. If a crop is nearly ready, harvesting it after her visit gives you another chance at flowers. Flowers stored in a chest still count when Celine collects them on festival morning. Ten, 30, 50, and 60 flowers mark the reward tiers; 50 takes first place, while 60 earns the top prize.
- Shooting Star Festival, Summer 28: Elsie offers a Star Brooch if you want to invite someone. Hold it while speaking to a candidate with at least four hearts, then choose Invite To Festival. You can also go alone. Finish daytime errands before heading to the Summit from 8 p.m. for the evening scene.
- Harvest Festival, Fall 10: Reina explains Queen Berries on Fall 7. Water or harvest crops, tend livestock, forage, clear rocks and branches, and fish over the next three days. She collects the berries on festival morning; 10, 30, and 50 berries are the prize tiers, with 50 taking first place.
- Animal Festival, Winter 10: Adeline visits on Winter 7. A pet cannot compete; bring a mature animal raised in a Coop or Barn. Register one small animal with Terithia and one large animal with Landen if you have both. Do this before speaking to Josephine, which starts judging. Hearts and coat rarity determine the score; 35, 50, and 65 points mark third, second, and first place in each category.

Relationship route: friendship gate, dates, wedding, and child
Open the Villagers tab to see heart progress and whether you have already spoken to or gifted someone that day. A villager accepts one gift per day; conversations, suitable gifts, birthday gifts, and heart quests move the relationship forward. Heart events arrive at two, four, six, eight, and ten hearts for romance candidates. If a new heart does not produce a scene immediately, read mail and check the Request Board for the character’s heart quest, then follow its location or meeting instruction.
Keep two goals distinct. The deepest mine story asks for eight hearts with Juniper and Eiland and their eight-heart events; it does not require marrying either of them. Dating is optional for that quest. To pursue marriage, choose the dating relationship at your preferred candidate’s eight-heart event; dates then become available, and reaching ten hearts with someone you are dating opens the proposal route. Start cultivating that relationship early, but keep mining for the material-heavy ring.

The morning after reaching ten hearts with someone you are dating, Elsie delivers the Engagement Ring recipe. The Dragon-Forged Core requires the floor-100 Dragonsworn Tablet sequence to unlock its recipe, then the Dragon Forge on floor 90 to make it. Craft the ring at an ordinary blacksmith forge from one Dragon-Forged Core, two Diamonds, four Mistril Ingots, and four Gold Ingots. Choose Discuss when speaking to that person with the ring, then confirm the proposal at the Summit. You may see other ten-heart events before choosing a spouse. Once engaged, choose a wedding date at least five days ahead and within the same in-game year, then discuss the cake, flowers, and reception meal with your fiancé before that day arrives.
Engagement changes other dating relationships to Best Friends by default. If you are dating several characters and want to keep those relationships open, review the break-up setting before you confirm the engagement. After the wedding, your spouse moves in. Two in-game weeks later, the Great Bird’s dream provides a Mystical Feather; take it to your spouse to start the optional family discussion. The child arrives after the following two-week sequence. None of these family choices is needed to complete town restoration.
If progress seems stuck, check the missing step
- Enough Town Rank, no repair letter: finish the preceding project’s last conversation, read new mail, and check the Journal for a meeting. The Mill also follows a wait after the first Food Reserves job.
- Materials on hand, quest still active: put the exact items into that project’s box, then speak with the named resident and pay the separate Tesserae fee if the quest lists one.
- Mine entrance still closed at Stone: read the mine letter and meet Eiland in the Narrows. A rank notification is the beginning of the unlock sequence.
- New seed, animal, or market stock missing: finish the related store, barn, or market quest and check its seasonal conditions. A rank milestone alone does not complete construction.
- Final repair asks for unfamiliar metal or forged parts: continue the mine story to the required biome or floor 90 forge, then return to the town box. The town route and the mine route meet at this material gate.
