Alright, so Fortnite’s OG Pass for Season 3 just dropped, and yeah, people have thoughts. Some good, some… less good. But let’s get into it.
So, the setup’s the same as last time—three skins, each with an extra style, plus the usual batch of cosmetics like pickaxes, back blings, gliders, and emotes. And before you ask, yes, there’s another guitar you can actually play in Festival. Gotta respect the commitment to making Fortnite feel like five different games at once.
Now, here’s where things get a little spicy. The skins this time? Power Chord, Rex, and Raven—but they’re all remixed versions from the item shop instead of the classic Season 3 battle pass skins. No Reaper, no Dark Voyager, no Rust Lord. I can already hear the internet groaning. That said, they did slap an astronaut helmet on Power Punk (aka Power Chord 2.0), which feels like a tiny nod to Season 3’s space theme. A small win? Maybe?
One cool change—this time, they mixed up the gliders a bit instead of just throwing in those classic default-style ones. Sir Raven even gets wings, which is kinda sick.
If you want in, it’s 1,000 V-Bucks, and you’ve got until June 8 to grind out the 45 levels needed to unlock everything. If you’re in Fortnite Crew, you get it automatically, plus access to the Lego and Music passes. Oh, and there’s a new Lego Pass already out, and another Music Pass dropping in two weeks, so if you’re into that, now’s probably the best time to hop on. Just keep in mind, if you unsubscribe, say goodbye to unlocking anything else from those passes.
So yeah, solid stuff, a few questionable choices, and a whole lot of grinding ahead. You in, or skipping this one?
