Loading...Let’s continue with the Uranium Mines section of the Carrion walkthrough. After clearing the Military Junkyard, head back up, go right, and then up again to return to the pipe where you previously deposited biomass.
Flashback Sequence #1
Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in a new area of the Frontier. Move down and squeeze into the square metal opening in the wall to begin your first flashback sequence.
This marks the first time you will control a human character. As you leave the helicopter, a drone and two humans will accompany you.
Navigate through the level down and to the left, descending the ladders until you reach the bottom platform. Climb down the ladders to the ground and walk toward the left wall. Interact with the wall to plant C4 explosives. One of your companions will set the detonator; step to the right to stay out of the blast zone, and then detonate the wall. Quickly run left through the opening to end the flashback, and you’ll return to your monster form, back in the Frontier.
This will unlock the path upwards and to your right; follow that route. Go down, then right, and use your cobweb ability to activate the switch and open another door. Squeeze into the pipe/passageway and find yourself in the Uranium Mines.
Navigating the Mines
As you traverse the mines, avoid armed humans while consuming them without getting shot. Move to the right and then down to deposit biomass into the wall, which opens up a new section of the map. Navigate further down and encounter another room filled with armed humans, then go up. This room contains three unarmed humans, making them easier targets.
Continue up and right to a room with a pool of water and one human. Move right and deposit more biomass into the wall. Return to the previous room to fling the cage that blocks the path upward. Once you flip the switch in this room, unlocking the door, you’ll face a new, more powerful enemy.
Encountering Xiphorrhea
Meet Xiphorrhea, a human in a white suit equipped with a laser shield and firearms. Use your cobwebs to paralyze this enemy, but avoid contact with the shield while it’s active, as it will drain your health and harm you. Flip the final switch to access the next Main DNA containment unit, break it open, and squeeze inside.
You have now acquired Xiphorrhea, the ability to hold the attack button and dash forward, enabling you to eliminate enemies and break through wooden obstacles and walls—something you couldn’t do before. Squeeze into the wall to deposit biomass and save your progress.
