To begin this quest, head to Liyue Harbor and talk to the bank staff. You’ll need to meet Childe and Zhongli, who will provide you with a bag of Mora for the next part of the quest. Take the Mora to the southern end of Liyue Harbor to purchase Noctilus Jade from a merchant. Next, you’ll need to do some cooking, which must be done at a specific cooking pot rather than just any stove.
This requires going to Dadaupa Gorge, where you’ll find several low-level Hilichurls near a large cooking pot. After defeating them, use a Pyro attack to light the pot. At this point, more Hilichurls will arrive, turning the situation into a tower defense challenge similar to those you often encounter in Daily Tasks. Keep the Hilichurls away from the pot, and once the heat bar is full, you’ll be able to cook the Jade. Afterward, return to the merchant in Liyue Harbor, who will direct you to Yujing Terrace, where you need to place the Noctilus Jade.
Next, head back to the Harbor to speak with a different merchant to buy Silk Flowers. After that, you’ll need to run around and talk to several people nearby. Start with Lan at the Adventurer’s Guild desk, then speak to Qiming and Ying’er. You’ll then need to go to a restaurant nearby with Ying’er and grab a water bucket from behind the restaurant to take back to her. To make perfume, you need to give her Fate’s Yearning, Valley Weaver, and Golden House Maiden oils; these can be crafted at the bench in Liyue Harbor. Once you’ve gathered the flowers and oils, give them to Ying’er to create the perfume. After that, teleport to the statue marked on your map to speak with Zhongli.
From here, return to Liyue Harbor to meet Madame Ping, who will invite you to take the Cleansing Bell from her teapot. Jump back to Yujing Terrace and give the Cleansing Bell to Zhongli, which will move you into the next stage of the quest. This stage starts with you buying a kite in Liyue from Granny Shan. You’ll need to negotiate with three workers to gather materials while keeping their mood from dropping too low. You can usually barter down the price to about half of what they initially ask for, but lowering your offer too quickly can sour their mood. Even at full price, it won’t be a huge expense, especially with the Mora you received at the start, so be reasonable in your negotiations. Once you have the materials, the marker will direct you back to Childe.
Next, head to Bubu Pharmacy to talk to Qiqi, then make your way to Mt. Tianheng to find the Guizhong Ballista. Nearby, you’ll find a supply room that you need to enter, which can be tricky because the only way in is through a raised window. From the ballista, glide down and swing back in close to the wall to reach the supply room. Inside, you’ll need to collect the ballista parts and then return them to the ballista itself. Be prepared to face three waves of Treasure Hoarders along the way; while they may throw mud to obscure your vision, they should be manageable since you need to be at least Rank 29 to start this mission.
Once you’ve defeated the Treasure Hoarders, return to Qiqi at the pharmacy, then head back to Yujing Terrace to place the Everlasting Incense you just obtained and talk to Zhongli again. He will invite you to a meal, so set the time to after 18:00, go to the restaurant, and watch the cutscene to complete the quest.
