This Genshin Impact guide provides a detailed walkthrough for the Chapter Two Prologue, Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves. In this quest, you find yourself in Liyue, searching for a way to reach Inazuma, and luckily, Kazuha and Beidou are here to assist you.
Preparation for the Journey
Since this is the prologue to the second chapter, ensure your characters are well-equipped. The monsters in Inazuma are quite different from those you encounter in Mondstadt and Liyue. Additionally, make sure you have completed the previous Archon quests, including “We Will Be Reunited,” and that you have reached Adventure Rank 36.
A Path Through Storm
Teleport to a waypoint near Liyue Harbor to trigger a scene where you and Paimon ponder how to reach Inazuma. After this, head to Liyue Port and speak with Atsuko, who will brief you on the situation in Inazuma, including information about the three commissions that oversee the land.
At the end of your conversation with Atsuko, she will mention Beidou and The Crux Fleet, who might help you cross the sea and take you to Inazuma. After your chat with Atsuko, go to the Domain of Guyun in Guyun Stone Forest. Exit the cave and make your way to the highest peak above the domain.
Reaching Beidou’s Ship
Glide down to Beidou’s ship. When you arrive, a crew member may reprimand you for appearing uninvited. Ignore them and talk to Beidou on the ship. During your discussion, Beidou mentions a tournament organized by Kazuha and herself. The original prize for winning the tournament was a Masterless Vision, but upon hearing your desire to go to Inazuma, Beidou offers you a choice: win the tournament and you can choose either the Masterless Vision or a trip to Inazuma. Since a vision is of little use to you, you will choose the trip to Inazuma.
Next, head to the highlighted location on your map and speak with your fellow competitors.
The Crux Clash
The Crux Clash takes place at this location:

Speak to the receptionist, Zhuhan, to start the tournament. In this event, you won’t be able to use your elemental powers, and you can only play as the Traveler. You’ll face several matches, with increasing difficulty as you progress deeper into the tournament. As long as you time your dodges and attacks effectively, you should be fine.
Follow the quest closely until you qualify for the finals. At this point, look for Kazuha at the highlighted spot on your minimap. Once you find him, he will ask you to demonstrate your skills by defeating some slimes. After defeating them, talk to him again.
Follow the Wind
After returning to the tournament with Kazuha, you’ll find Beidou wondering why your opponent hasn’t arrived yet. Just after Beidou introduces you, it becomes clear that the Masterless Vision prize meant for the winner has been stolen.
Follow Kazuha to track down the person who took the prize. You’ll encounter treasure hoarders along the way, so be ready for a fight. At the end of the trail, you will confront Fei, a treasure hoarder who is supposed to be your opponent in the finals. A fight will ensue between you and Fei after you and Kazuha finish speaking with him.
Once you defeat Fei, Kazuha decides to let him go, as this was merely a test to see if the vision would awaken when the wielder is put in a tough situation. Since the vision didn’t activate, Fei only faces a light consequence.
After everything that has happened, you and Kazuha will return to the tournament grounds. Speak with Zhuhan to complete the quest.
