Helen Keller Simulator Achievements: 14-Task Run Order

Entering the Grasslands in Helen Keller Simulator with a crouch prompt

Steam now lists 14 Helen Keller Simulator achievements, not 12. The August 6, 2026 Endings Update added See the World and Silence a Beast, and it changed the safest completion plan. Use one scouting run with the map available, preserve the two dialogue conditions during that run, then repeat a route you have already proved without opening the map. Leave Long Time No See until every active-session task is finished.

The two new achievement descriptions are hints, not complete walkthroughs. They name three vehicles and three monsters, but the developer has not published their locations or a required path. This guide therefore gives a current checklist, a low-risk run order, and observable completion checks without inventing coordinates, an ending trigger, or a monster route.

What changed in The Endings Update

The official August 6 announcement says the update added two ending achievements to hint at solutions, several endings, a motorbike, boat and plane, two dangerous creatures, a castle, mountain ranges, and collectible sand. Steam Global Achievements now shows 14 entries. It also displays the opening achievement as Nothing to See Hear; pages that still use Nothing to See Here are showing the launch-era name.

The only current English Steam Guide found for this App ID is a community map last updated on August 5. Its index covers the interior, farm-side exterior, road, minefield, ocean, and wasteland, but it predates the update that added the castle and mountain ranges. It remains useful for orientation, not for proving that Sight Seer is complete in the current build.

The current 14-achievement checklist

Achievement What Steam currently requires Best window
Nothing to See Hear Launch the game. First tracking check
A Change of Scenery Reach the outside. Opening scout
Touch Grass Pick up grass once. First Grasslands pass
Lawn Mower Pick up 100 grass. Same pass, with a separate tally
Hands on Experience Pick up 50 different objects. Map-enabled exploration
I Did Not See That Coming Be hit by a car. Before a long exploration segment
Touch No Evil Pick up the good book. When the item is positively identified
Speak No Evil Enter the wasteland without talking to the night watchman. First protected wasteland entry
Hear No Evil Ignore all instructions from the ship captain. First protected captain encounter
Sight Seer Visit every area counted by the map. Map-enabled scouting run
See No Evil Beat the game without using the map. Dedicated repeat run
Long Time No See Return after a week of inactivity. After all other sessions
See the World Leave by motorbike, boat, or plane. Current-build ending exploration
Silence a Beast Kill the Dragon, Siren, or Medusa. Current-build monster encounter

The table is a task list, not a claim that all 14 fit into one run. The two counters reward different behavior, the dialogue achievements punish an interaction, the no-map achievement needs a rehearsed route, and the inactivity achievement cannot be earned during ordinary cleanup.

Use the scouting run to separate counters from choices

Make Nothing to See Hear the first go/no-go check. If it does not unlock on launch, update the game and restart before spending time on counters. The August 2 Bug Fix said achievements should “hopefully” be more successful, so the developer did not present tracking as permanently solved.

Inside, follow the prompts visible in your current client. Official store screenshots show E on a door and Ctrl at the Grasslands transition, but they do not prove a full keyboard layout or a mandatory exit order.

The official screenshot proves this door prompt. It does not prove the key hunts, color routes, or fixed step counts published on unofficial pages.

Outside, keep two notes rather than one. Add one to the grass tally only after a grass pickup; add an object to the variety list only when its name or prompt is meaningfully different from something already collected. Lawn Mower asks for quantity, while Hands on Experience asks for 50 different objects. Repeating one familiar pickup is not evidence that both counters advanced.

Do not assign an ordinary book to Touch No Evil just because it is near the opening. Steam specifies the good book but does not publish its location. Interact when the current tooltip or item identity gives you a reason, then let the achievement toast confirm the match.

Take the deliberate car hit before a long mapping pass. The achievement condition is explicit, and an official screenshot confirms a death screen with Restart and Exit. The reset scope is not documented, so verify the unlock before restarting and do not place the test after work you are unwilling to repeat.

Write down banners, not somebody else’s old map

The scouting run has one job that a static map cannot do: establish the route in your current build. Write every large Entering… banner in order, the action immediately before it, and one recoverable landmark on the side you came from. The Endings Update added world content after the only English Steam map guide was updated, so a copied list of old sections can end before the current achievement counter does.

Protect the two negative conditions while you map. When the ship captain’s instructions appear, do not acknowledge or advance them; continue away and watch for Hear No Evil. At the night watchman, do not interact before crossing into the wasteland. The official screenshot calls that destination Barren Wastes, while the achievement uses the broader word wasteland. The area banner and achievement toast are better checks than a guessed distance.

Use the Barren Wastes banner as the observable boundary for the watchman condition.

Do not declare Sight Seer complete from a fan map count. Keep exploring until Steam awards it. If the toast does not appear, compare your own banner list with the regions you can still reach in the updated client; do not fill the gap with an unverified jump exploit or a pre-update area list.

The Endings Update gives outcomes, not coordinates

See the World names three acceptable exits: motorbike, boat, or plane. Silence a Beast names three acceptable targets: Dragon, Siren, or Medusa. The word or matters. The achievement text asks for one listed vehicle and one listed monster; it does not ask you to use all three vehicles or kill all three creatures.

Choose the first option your current route exposes, then record three things: the last area banner, the interaction or combat result, and whether Steam awarded the named achievement. The official announcement confirms that those vehicles, creatures, and several endings were added. It does not publish where they spawn, which ending each vehicle reaches, or a universal combat sequence. If none appears on your established route, widen the map-enabled scouting run rather than importing coordinates from a 12-achievement guide.

Only after one current-build ending is reproducible should you attempt See No Evil. Start a clean run, leave the map unopened, and replay the banner-to-banner route you wrote down. If the map screen opens, restart that challenge attempt; the description does not promise that a brief accidental use is forgiven. Use an ending that already produced a confirmed end state in the scouting run. The update added multiple endings, but no official source says every ending satisfies the no-map achievement.

The seven-day unlock begins after everything else

Long Time No See is a real-time condition, not a cleanup step. After the active achievements are settled, close the game completely and record the date and time outside the game. Do not relaunch it for a quick check. Steam does not publish whether the inactivity value uses local time, Steam time, or a stored timestamp, so waiting seven complete days is the least ambiguous interpretation of “a week of inactivity.”

Your route is closed when the scouting run has produced a verified banner sequence and current ending, the protected dialogue and counter achievements have been checked against their own toasts, the same route has been completed without the map, and the inactivity window has been left untouched. If a later update changes the total above 14, stop using this checklist as complete and recheck the live Steam achievement page before starting another long run.

Sources and verification boundary

The Steam store listing establishes the game identity, release state, platform, and screenshot provenance. The live total, names, and conditions come from Steam Global Achievements. The new endings, vehicles, creatures, and regions come from the developer’s August 6 Endings Update. Community material was used only to identify the limits of the pre-update map; it does not supply the missing ending routes.
